By this time, I get it; you're busy - I'd walked past the multiple patient boards which also provided a clue in case I didn't already feel like I was in a clinic not an acupuncture setting. Kari arrived and after a very brief conversation says she thinks it would help if I came twice a week to the tune of $2200. UP FRONT. When asked about insurance, she demurs, saying oh you talk to them since you know them best. Uhhhh baloney. If you're In-Network, its your distinct responsibility to 'talk to them' and submit the bills. If you're out of network, it's mine. I did receive a treatment but in a different room than the first - this with partial height walls!! I got to hear my neighbor tell the same story twice about fracturing his ribs - all while I'm mid treatment which is supposed to be healing and quiet. And unlike any other practitioner I've been to, Kari doesn't take a pulse. This did not feel like caring, attentive acupuncture; lots of regulars (Mr Appt Book and Fractured Rib among them) and upsells to ozone or electronic acupuncture. Felt like a cash grab and was more like an ER, triage here, put them there, treatment here...next!! Hard pass.
