The director Jessica told me that she would be taken care of and she definitely was not. ONE HOUR? That's what you give a new child with autism? The other director told me the teachers in her class do not have the training to deal with "children like her". I would NOT recommend this school to ANYONE, but especially to parents with kids with special needs.

I met a lifelong friend a couple years ago when I happened upon an event that this organization was co-sponsoring. They're always trying new ways to engage with all communities in Chattanooga. Last week I attended a virtual cooking class they were co-sponsoring. The recipe was a unique take on chocolate cake for me. It was cool to learn about new ingredient possibilities and hear from cooks all over the world as some made the recipe and some just discussed other possible ingredient substitutions in each step. Everyone was so genuinely friendly and kind, even virtually.

The staff was often insensitive to everyone but especially the children that attended. Some employees would yell at the children with the knowledge of the owner. It is never necessary to yell in the situations these "teachers" did. These women would actually scream at the top of their lungs if someone was in trouble or if the class wouldn't be quiet. There are so many other ways to handle those situations, better ways. Alot of the time even children that didn't misbehave were scared of the "teachers". Even though this was a good while ago (I'm in highschool) please know there was a time where it was and the owner and people in charge were very aware
