GEE WHIZ---HOPE this review makes it To THE FRONT PAGE. No matter how many times I visit Simon Global Services on Clark...Its always a pleasant EXPIERANCE. I can listen to an array of music or watch bits and pieces of an exciting movie that is being displayed on a large TV screen in the lobby for customers to enjoy while waiting my turn in line or while conducting my business affairs there. Why I hope this review makes it to the front page?, It is because the folks at Simon's always greet everybody with a smile and make you feel welcome. Those few individuals who think any clerk at any store is rude or obnoxious should check themselves first. We as customers expect everything from a business big or small, but we tend to forget the employees are HUMAN too!!! They have personal problems and individual situations that we customers ignore and take it for granted that we customers deserve the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE from any business, Shame on you who think that. True there should be respect, but it must be mutual. I was once at Mcdonalds and witnessed a customer rant and rave at the cashier cause Micky Dees does not sell pizza. On another occasion I was at the Coffee Studio and again witnessed a CUSTOMER berate one of the BARISTAS cause they did not carry a special kind of skim milk he liked. Another time a CUSTOMER was yelling at the clerk at The ROOST, cause he thought the vintage items sold at The Roost were to expensive and not to his liking. Oh boy some CUSTOMERS. Yes CUSTOMERS if you have a legitimate complaint, by all means complain, but don't hide behind Yelp and blaming others for your short comings. Customer service is a tough job, somebody has to do it, but they do not have to put up with illogical complaints and rudeness. I am a customer and I am in customer service, and the customer is NOT always right. The folks at Simon are wonderful people, a neighborhood business that serves the neighborhood, and with what I have learned the family has owned it for like THIRTY yes 30 years so they are doing something right. If you do not live in the neighborhood then why complain about something you do not know about. And if you are new to the neighborhood, learn to get along or move on, as we all know it, there are many other business that offer the same services as other similar business. Keep in mind the merchants do not drag us CUSTOMERS in, we CUSTOMERS make a choice to patronize a merchant. Any way I applaud Simon Global for its friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and professional staff. read more

I used to work for a nearby company where we used this location for shipping services on a daily basis. I wrote this review a year ago and I removed it due to a request from my employer at the time (as they shipped quite a lot through here) . Since I no longer work there the public deserves to know what happened winter 2021. Avoid this place at all costs as the manager Gabe is a hothead who is quick to anger and be violent. He was shoveling snow out front and bumped into me as I was walking by on the sidewalk. I said excuse me and instead of a simple excuse me or pardon me back he assaulted me, behaved like a bully shouting out insults and childish name calling. He followed me into my place of work (at the time) attempting to fight me. Please think carefully about supporting a business run by someone so unstable and violent. I've seen the police called out front of the store multiple times. Disgraceful and an embarrassment to the Andersonville community. read more

Super rude. I needed help shipping a Rolex to a dealer on the east coast. When I walked up to the counter with the box in my hand the gentleman said just leave it in the pile, I said I need to discuss something with you first I'd prefer not to leave it over there. I said again, just leave it over there. Sure Mr. Simon, that watch was probably the most expensive thing you had in your establishment and you want me just to throw it on the pile when there's other customers around and I haven't a receipt. I'm not sure what he was going through or why he was in such a crabby mood but maybe he's been doing this job for too long and should retire. read more
