My name is Steve, This move in has been one of the best experiences I have had in the 20 years I have been renting. Taryn and Nicole have been above and beyond what I would expect of any property managers I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I came in from out of state and the time spent on the phone to make my experience as comfortable as possible was above and beyond. I moved in on a Saturday and Taryn stayed way past her hours of work to make sure my move in and signing all the paperwork was a success. She even walked down to the apartment to make sure we got in OK to unload. The apartment was and is in excellent shape - very clean - and one of the nicest apartments I have had the opportunity to live in. I will also mention there were welcome gifts setting on the counter when I got inside the apartment. You cant beat a free pizza after a day of moving along with the other gift. I highly recommend new people looking for an apartment to look past Simonson Estates for multiple reasons and just to make it clear they charge $950 a month for these shitty ass apartments. 1. Our doorknobs fall off of our bedroom door and our bathroom door 2. The carpets were disgusting when we first moved in we used our carpet cleaner and it was full of dog hair and dirt but yet they expect us to pay a $50 carpet cleaning fee when it wasn't clean when we moved in. 3. Stink bugs get into our apartment such as our room and our living room. 4.Birds are able to get inside out A/C unit in our bedroom every morning we can hear them moving around inside our A/C unit. 5. Our water wasn't turned on the first day we moved in and we have to pay our water bill separately. 6. They never put salt down when there is ice on the ground Ive fallen 3 times ending in hitting my knee just walking outside the door to go to my car. So in conclusion Simonson Estates is one of the worst apartment complexes to live in I highly recommend looking anywhere else but here.Oh and on top of that they expect us to pay nearly $3,000 to break our lease both months of rent and $1,500 to break the lease. read more

The only saving grace of this complex is Ron the maintenance man. He works his tail off. The buildings are falling apart, they flood, the paint is peeling. The hallways smell of stale food and cigarettes. Dogs constantly bark. The place is completely outdated. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere. Paying "pet rent" means nothing, they will gouge you for extra fees, regardless of how well of a job you cleaned, or how much extra you paid in fees. The sidewalks are cracked. The parking is HORRIBLE. The lawn care is a joke. Oh, the master bedroom is a nice size, and has a great walk in closet. read more
