I know that this is likely a situation that she's handled before, but good gracious, this has been a drawn out mess! She was even willing to drive to my mother if necessary assuming we could pin her location down to obtain consent for cremation. Also, the person (not sure the role title, and I'll remember his name at some point) who came to pick my grandmother up was so kind.
