I visit this Deals store on occasion - usually to look for holiday decorations, candy and household…read morethings like rubber gloves. On my first visit, I came in to buy candy and ending up browsing. And during that initial visit, I appreciated how many items this store has to offer and how well it's laid out. The patrons and workers take care of this store. I don't know how long it's been open, but it doesn't have the "tired" feel of most discount stores. And it's neat. Things aren't all piled up on each other in any random area; each section is separate and where you would expect to find something it's usually there. I didn't initially think of Deals as a "dollar store" but there are a lot of things that are $1. If I had kids, I come here every other month or so, give them $10 and let them go crazy. And if I were just starting out and not sure of what I needed, I would come here to buy dinnerware, glasses, etc. The prices are comparable to (and in some cases lower than) Wal-Mart and Target, so why deal with the parking and long check out lines of a bigger store? I don't know if I would have ever gone into this store if I wasn't dealing with a "candy jones" but I'm glad I did. Now if I'm in the area, I'll go in and pick up a flyer to see what deals I can get, and I suppose that's the point. Yelp 100 #21

I paid $5 for a pair of $40 shoes. $2.50 for Downy Liquid Fabric softener. $5 for some As Seen On TV Genie Shoe Stretcher that costs $9.99. $2.99 for Shoe Gel thingy's. But they have a lot going on. I've never been into thrifting or anything like that, however, Value Village isn't the typical thrifting experience. The store has an abundance of options and there is always a hidden gem or two on the racks. Also, the color discount is the bombbbbbbbb. Granted on the days I go the things I want tend to never be the color of the day, LoL! However, the prices are already amazing even without the color of the day. On my journey of stores the Value Village - Forest Park location has become my favorite. The racks are always stocked and they put things in order size. OMG!!!! That is huge for me as I hate going on a scavenger hunt. The store is clean, the racks are sized, and they even had a Coach bag once. I told you, hidden gems. Value Village - Forest Park delivers value as a brand but also as a service. The staff is pleasant and they are always willing to help. Though the lines can be LONG at times, they move efficiently and never seem to be frustrated. If you're in the area, Value Village - Forest Park is a great place to stop in and grab a few things that may not have been on your list, but since you see them, you want them. LoL!!!!!

I felt like a kid in the candy store when i first walked in here. Some of the appliances have dents or minor defects but most of them look excellent! I got a $1600 whirlpool side by side fridge with installation and delivery for under $700! It had a minor dent on the side that doesn't affect the overall look or quality. Most of the items come with the original manufacturers warranty but Lowe's offer additional 3 or 5 year warranty starting at $85 ( depending on price of unit purchase). They also have a 48 hour no questions asked return window for appliances purchased/delivered from this location. They sell more than han just appliances, they have indoor and outdoor furnishings also. Basically anything but plants ... They do have different hours and terms that vary from the traditional store but with these prices, I say that it makes up for it! I recommend looking here for your needs before you make a purchase elsewhere, it really was worth the drive to check it out!
