And also very very kind and greeted me with a smile. I sat down and the threader asked me what kind of shape I wanted. I just went with my natural shape because I didn't know much about eyebrows. The threading process did hurt a little bit (after all you're getting your eyebrows plucked) but she tried her best to accommodate the pain. Afterwards, you're offered a soothing cream for the skin and makeup to hide the redness. They think of everything! Your 5th touchup is free so that will come in handy soon~ Overall, I like this place. From the outside, it looks like a really cheap and dingy salon. They could definitely do with a bit of expansion because of how tiny it is, but they do a great job and the customer service was lovely.

I was happy with the service in the city and happy again when visiting their own salon in Armadale. Like the other reviewers, I have to say the service was brilliant and the lovely owner was very accommodating in getting me an appointment at the last minute. I recommend doing the polite thing and calling ahead, they will call you back the second they can fit you in or have a cancellation. Easy and saves the awkwardness if you walk in and they are booked solid. Unfortunately my eyebrows did not grow back where they needed to, but they were still great at doing the best with what I have an offering advice of what to do makeup wise to lengthen them and even them out. I know there's plenty of places that do threading for around $25 but for the confidence, I'm happy to pay the $10. They will give you a loyalty card and every 5th one is free, so you're actually only paying $28 per service in the long run. Overall, very happy with the service and will continue to frequent.

Usually when I get my eyebrows waxed the skin around them remains red for a good 12-24 hours, thanks to my Irish-Australian lily white skin.However after an eyebrow wax here the evidence of my visit had dissapeared within a couple of hours. So I came in with another colleague, she is there for a haircut and I am there for eyebrow threading. The shopfront is only about 1.5 metres wide so it's easy to walk past or undermine this salon, but once you walk in you will find a long narrow salon with a separate area at the back and beautician of the house Rimi does her magic upstairs. The hairdresser listened to my friend's request and did a good job cutting and thin layering her super thick hair. She was told the story that this salon's specialty is hair extension and they love doing colours. My eyebrow threading+tinting was a lovely experience and both of us walked away happy and with a $20 voucher each for next visit. Friendly staff, lovely service, satisfied clients. If I didn't have to cross the bridge to get here, this will be my local salon.

My therapist's name was Rebecca and she was so lovely. I felt very special as I have only ever been used to pedicures from your run of the mill 'Asian stores' (no offence intended). What made my pedicure so special was the treatment I was given by Rebecca. There were no foot spa's or anything like that. I had to place my feet in a large wooden bowl filled with warm soapy water, then my feet were given that extra special treatment. I had a vast array of colours to choose from either 'normal' polish or shellack. Rebecca then massaged my feet with an all natural scrub she actually made herself which felt amazing. There were no razors, a special exfoliator was used and I was told that these razors are very bad for your feet because they actually take skin off your feet and encourage the skin to grow more, hence giving you harder skin on your heels. The salon also has a hairdresser with over 20 years experience. The hours often vary to suit the customers as the owners live very close by and a more than happy to work with the customer to suit them. You can even order brunch from over the road and have it delivered if you like. Kempt beauty offer a vast array of beauty treatments such as waxing, eyebrows and manicures. After this visit I really can't see myself returning to a franchise type nail salon. I highly recommend Kempt, they will make you feel amazing. The customer service is A1. Well done Kempt.
