The salon was closed when I dropped in, though it was during trading times, but that's understandable because there's not much point in opening up before you've got appointments if it's the middle of a work day. I called the phone number provided and Esther answered immediately. She was friendly and accommodating, and we made an appointment for an hour later. She was just as friendly in person, and did an excellent job! After the trim and shape my hair had a lot more movement, and she showed me new techniques when blowing it out. I'll definitely be back, and will hopefully try more of her services as well! This one's definitely worth a go.

Walked out bleeding and crying with the worst nails I have ever gotten. Every nail is a different chunky thickness, shape and length. Acrylic is all over my skin and under my nails which is burning my open wounds. The quality of this salon is less than one star and I'm so sad I ended up here.

All Star Nails is an incredibly friendly, professional and clean space to get yo' nails did. Most recently I walked in off the street late in the afternoon and requested a shellac manicure. I was immediately seated, offered a bottle of water and one of the friendly gals got to work. EFFICIENCY! My nails are still crisp and clean, one week later with absolutely no signs of impending chips. The pedicures are just as speedy but equally as relaxing. Lay back in one of their giant, massaging seats and forget your worries and your cares. But what reflects most about the All Star ladies are their customers. Every time I have popped in, they always seem to have local ladies coming in and out, asking about the manicurists children or requesting "the usual". I was charged $60 for SNS nails which is more than I thought it would be but I did not want to complain as the nail tech seemed adamant about the price. Was charged $5 for removal of shellac and $10 for cuticle care (more on cuticle treatment below) plus another $5 for getting two colours of SNS instead of one (no other nail salon has charged me more as it's the same process and time used it's just using another pot of powder). The nail tech didn't listen to me after I'd given strict instructions of which nails I needed to keep long to play music with and which ones I wanted shortened and CLIPPED off one of my long ones. Proceeded to put a tip on without apologising, appeared to want the mistake to go unnoticed. Used the nail drill and acetone when taking off shellac and burned my skin numerous times with the drill. I didn't realise I needed to ask for my cuticle tended to and wasn't told the cost when asked. Burned my skin in numerous places and clipped raw skin off in parts. Very rushed and painful. Used the drill way more than I've seen another nail tech use it and as my nails are already so thin, I'm worried they've been damaged. The shape is uneven and the edges are not uniform and jagged in parts. There was SNS powder stained on various fingers. My cuticles are also a mess. Didn't offer moisturiser at the end of the treatment, it was just on the desk where I paid and I had to ask what it was and whether I could use it. Thoroughly disappointed with my service and I'll never return. Please stop asking your clients to write you a good review for 15 percent off. It's shameful and you won't learn where your nail technicians need to improve.

Rather they spent time concentrating on the task and provided some advice. One girl was quite funny once I started the convo and the other quickly picked up on the fact that I like to keep my beauty routine quite natural and suggested I use fresh aloe Vera to calm the skin. Both were very thorough and made sure the job was done right. I've had half assed waxes before, but not here. It's easy to get into an appointment on the same day and they have late opening hours too The price is totally right with half leg and underarm costing only $40!
