And there were parts of our house that I didn't even think could get clean. I was more than just pleasantly surprised. Also, Mike has such a good personality for this type of business. He was clean and friendly and made us feel comfortable with having someone around our house for the day. My husband saw him power washing a house during his walk and expressed an interest in having ours get done. Within minutes, Mike was at our house walking with us to see what we wanted and where we needed him to focus. This is just a great guy overall. And shockingly it was affordable. We paid an extra 12% or so to do some minor carpentry repair and touch up black shutters as needed. The crew worked diligently through the day, thoroughly cleaning up and maintaining a neat workspace every day. Our original contract had a 6.5% sales tax added to the total, and we had to ask for that to be removed. Massachusetts does not collect sales tax on services performed. We occasionally had some difficulty understanding each other and recalling details of previous conversations. Lesson: check and doublecheck the written contract. Gio is a hard worker, confident, and not one to waste time. Our house looks terrific, and we're hoping the fresh upgrade lasts even longer than Gio's 5 year warrantee.
