I took my new car to Simply Cool a month ago to have window tint and clear bra installed. I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't trust a car I just spent $35K on to just anyone, but these guys are clean cut, professional, courteous, and they really know their stuff. They have tints in many shades and price points, and their installation is flawless. They were great about recommending colors that would look good with my car, and when installing the bra were good to work with me when I requested that they do the bumper, headlights, hood, mirrors, fog lights, and rear bumper at the trunk opening. Their shop is incredibly clean, and they didn't have any problem at all with me hovering and asking questions as they were installing the tint and bra. When I finally decided to leave them with their work, it was nice to be able to walk a block to TRAX, shopping, and restaurants. I received awesome service here. I got my 2010 mazda3 tinted to the lowest legal limit, the process took about an hour and a half or 2 hours at the most, pretty quick. I was told I could wait there or leave my car while it was being worked on and April was kind enough to offer me a drink and point me to the short cut to the super close trax station on the other side that is blocked off with a wall or something. That way I could go back home and hangout. The tint job was clean and the tint settled in nicely after a couple of warm days. One of the guys went over the variety of tint films to choose from that ranges in quality and performance. I was upgraded a level for free!! I bought a Groupon for window tinting for our Nissan Altima. We made the appointment for the first slot of the day (9:00 AM). We arrived and the girl who runs the front desk went over all the options for tinting -- how dark, the different film options, warranties, etc. but it was all very informative; no hard sell at all, which I appreciated. We ultimately decided to go one level up from the Groupon product and get the High Performance film (additional $50). They got started right away and said the car would be ready around 2:00 PM, and then they called a little bit after 12 to say it was done! They did a FANTASTIC job. The tint looks like it has been there the whole time. I wouldn't hesitate to bring another car here for a tint job, even without a coupon or deal. read more

I made an original appointment on April 13th for the install on Apriin this situationl 25th. I called back on April 15th and rescheduled to May 7th due to work. When I arrived for my install, I am informed that I owe a $30 cancellation fee. I simply asked why I owe $30. The young lady told me, for canceling within 24 hours of my install date. I then told her I cancelled a week and a half before my install date so I don't think I should have a charge on there. She then went and got the owner. The owner came out and asked me what the problem was. I explained that I had not cancelled 24 hours prior to my first install date. He seemed to not listen, then proceeded to give me an ultimatum telling me I either pay $40 for the hatchback fee or $30 for the cancellation fee. If i didn't like that go somewhere else. I did not appreciate his attitude from a simple question. At no time had I given anyone there an attitude, or displayed any kind of facial expressions of irritation due to the fact that I may pay $30 fee. I was simply curious about the charge. I was not trying to get the cheapest deal. I would have been perfectly fine with paying $140 for the original fee but when I called to schedule the guy told me that he can waive the hatchback fee on his own. I did not complain about the hatchback fee. The owner was completely unprofessional giving me ultimatums and saying he can care less if I do it there or cancel. At that time I didn't feel that it would be safe to leave my car there and get a really good job done. I have never left a bad review, and often feel they are unfair. But in this situation, I was inclined to. I'm sure the product is fine and maybe he had a bad morning but never should an employee treat a customer that way. Esspecially the owner. read more

Excellent product, excellent service, excellent prices! I saved thousands of dollars by tinting our home windows rather than installing shades. I have UV protection for flooring, furniture, and artwork that I wouldn't have had otherwise. I was able to choose different levels of tinting on certain windows according to my needs. A mirrored effect on the exterior creates needed privacy (Including a bathroom window in the shower). And lastly, we had the very pleasant surprise of a remarkably improved visuals. The color of the sky and the contrast of the scenery is stunning...much better than without! We have a modern style home with large picture windows overlooking the valley and facing the sunset which can be very intense in the summer time. The drop-down window shades were removed during a remodel and I didn't want to put them back up for style reasons. I considered electric roll-down shades on the exterior to cut down the sun, but they are quite expensive. Because the tinting was the more affordable choice, I opted to start with window tinting, knowing I could add shades later if needed, and used Simply Cool to do the job. They installed the tinting quickly, cheerfully, and very professionally. We are careful when cleaning the windows on the inside and have had no chipping, peeling, bubbling, or scratching. The tinting has been on for 6 months now and they are still in perfect condition, even in the high-moisture shower. There is no need for window shades. The tinting is excellent. Not very 'cool' when a company deletes negative reviews. Disappointed that Yelp even allows that. I had my car tinted here (yes, I am a real customer with a real job done at this place. If this review disappears too, I will file a complaint with the BBB). I would strongly urge customers to look elsewhere for a tint job. There are better tint companies out there that charge less and do a better job with better film. This company severely overcharges for a sub par job. One star is too much for this company and the owner. The owner Ty worked on putting a clear bra on the front of my $70,000 brand new truck. Not only was the clear bra material starting to come off in less than 24 hours he told me that he would not warranty it. Not only did he tell me this but when I inquired about why they were cut outs on the film that was put on the front part of my truck he would not answer. I said why did you cut on my truck? And he would never respond and there was also other issues with the install as well . When I asked him for his insurance information he would not give it to me initially. But after a lot of prodding he finally gave up the name of his insurance company and his agent. His insurance company did not get a hold of me until 54 days after the claim was turned in and then proceeded to tell me that he did not have coverage for damaging my truck. They told me that he only had coverage for a case in which he would hit somebody else's vehicle but there was no coverage for this type of work that was done on my truck. He installs window tint on buildings homes cars does clear bras on vehicles ranging from cheap too expensive and yet he does not have insurance that will cover if he damages someone's car /Property. You be the judge if you want someone working on your property that is not properly insured like the owners of simply cool. When I asked his insurance if there was coverage even if the owner didn't want this covered they said no. That it would only cover if he hit somebody with one of their vehicles or I am not sure a side of that. The owner told me that he was going into the commercial side of tinting the windows of buildings and by judging from what he did to me I wouldn't have him do anything for me ever again. I put this out there because I don't want somebody else to run into the same thing that we did.
