I couldn't find what I needed at first so the owner took me to a storage container out back and let me rummage through parts and take them out to my Jeep to make sure they fit until I found what I needed. I went back several times and he helped me find exactly what I needed each time. He even threw in a few free nuts and bolts after I spent so much time gathering parts. I've been in a LOT of hardware stores around the country and I have to say this was the best hardware store experience I've ever had. He even told me I could call him on Sunday if I need a part,!and he would come open up the store for me. Bravo CK! I will return for sure when I'm in the area.

I walked into this Lowe's expecting decent customer service, but instead, I got an employee who clearly had no interest in helping customers. From the moment I asked a question, she dismissed me, cutting me off and assuming she knew what I needed--without even listening. When I tried to clarify, she just kept saying, "Whatever," with an attitude that made it clear she had no concern for actually assisting me. It got worse when I asked about my membership. Instead of taking a moment to understand what I was asking, she made an assumption, completely ignoring my actual question. When I told her she needed to get a clear understanding before responding, she rolled her eyes and, again, said, "Whatever." At that point, I had enough--I turned around and walked out. Lowe's in Odessa might have quality products, but if you're looking for quality customer service, do NOT come here. If you enjoy being ignored, dismissed, and treated like an inconvenience, then by all means, waste your time. Otherwise, take your business elsewhere to a store that actually respects its customers.

She made multiple calls to people in their online department each time calling me back to let me know what was going on. We stopped to look at them, and could not believe how much fuller, and more beautiful they were. The girl that was helping us was genuinely nice (I wish I could remember her name, maybe Emily?). We bought a gorgeous, full tree and the price was about the same as Lowes but the Ace tree was bigger, and the quality of tree was so much better! A guy came out with a chainsaw, trimmed the trunk and helped us load it in the car, and was happy to do it. It was so refreshing to shop at a place that was so friendly and helpful. Lowes is ok, I go there often, but the employees are super overworked and checkout takes forever. Ace was fast and fun to shop at, and the employees are so nice they feel like you are shopping with friends! Need more places like this here.
