Had Shawn install 3 garage doors at my house. These doors cost us over $15,000 for all of them…read moreinstalled. We explained from the begining to Amanda the person taking our order that the door would be painted and she never advised against painting our new garage door. After installing Shawn came back on two separate times because the door does not open until you press the remote or keypad several times. Instead of hearing my reasoning and discussing the issue he tells me that all painted doors have a opening and closing problem due to the garage door seal sticking to the door. First if this was going to be the response why did they sell us a garage door that we told them we would be painting without this disclosure. His only fix which is not a long term solution is to put masking tape over the inside garage seal. Today he came by and I tried to show him what looks like a new issue as the door opens two feet then stops and he started to give me his same response and I tried to explain why I believe this is a different issue this time. Instead of hearing me and trying to look at my specific issue he did not care to see the video I took of the issue. He would not discuss it he just got upset when I told him this could not be the same issue and why I thought it was very different. He got angry, offended and told me that I knew better than him and to have a good day. He made it clear it was now my problem and he has no intention of doing anything further to fix the issue. At that he walked to his truck and drove away. It was no longer his issue even thou we are well inside of our builder warranty. This is not how I expected to be treated after doing business with this company. I will look for a more service oriented company that can listen to their customer and help resolve a reported problem. Instead of explaining the issue away and expecting me to be happy with how inconsistent it operates.
