We couldn't be more thrilled with how easy the process was and how beautiful her photos turned out. She was so careful with our new baby (first) and we felt beyond comfortable with her working with him in her studio. We came back again for a mini-session for Mother's Day which was so special and a priceless chance to catch those photos you want, but never seem to be able to get yourself. As a Mom, I find I have tons of snaps of my son with everyone else, but none of just the two of us. It was great to have that chance to get those action snapshots and we look forward to doing more mini-sessions with Heather over the years. We recently also did my son's One Year pictures and Cake Smash. She provided great information ahead of time so we knew exactly how to prepare before the shoot and what to expect. She had wonderful design ideas and took our ideas and desires into account from the beginning. My son seemed to be a bit shy around new people, very active and was more interested in the blackberries than his (delicious!!) cake. Despite this unpredictability in a toddler, Heather was able to work with him during our session to get amazing shots and catch those smiles that we will treasure for years to come. Her process of online photo review and downloading is easy and seamless. It was very easy for me to share with family and get things distributed and ordered right away. Her website is nicely done, her portfolio is great, she is priced very reasonably, and she got back to me really quickly after I emailed her the first time(much quicker than other photogs I reached out to). Once I decided to go with her, she was extremely accessible and quick in answering emails and phone calls. Jenna took the time to get to know me and find out what I was looking for in our wedding pictures. She did not simply show up on the day of the wedding; she got coffee with me a month before the wedding to get to know each other (her idea!). Trust me, that made a BIG difference in my comfort level on wedding day. She was not a random girl taking our pictures - she was Jenna, the girl who cares! It was honestly like having a friend taking all of our photos. Jenna is friendly, classy, talented, and funny. She joined in on our conversations while we were getting ready, but also blended in to the background at appropriate times too. She got along with all of my bridesmaids and groomsmen, which makes the "funny shots" easier because everyone was relaxed and not being yelled at. Spoke to Zach directly and then pretty much via txt which is way easier for me with kids. Was pretty much straight forward about everything and how it worked. Day of event he and Juli arrived early and were ready to capture . He even sent me email letting me know he was there and waiting. I met both and was immediately sparked by their warm and bubbly personalities. You can tell right of the bat they love love what they do!!! They have several cameras working and adjusting according to lightening etc... You could also tell they actually knew what they were doing and not posing as photographers. I'm always happy when I get quality professional people and I know my money was well spent. For the event of two hours I paid 300.00 for unlimited shots for the evening. At this point in the review the party is just a couple days old so I haven't gotten my proofs just yet so I can't comment on that but I am sure they will look and be perfect as the meticulous craft these two have I'm sure to be pleased.
