She was open to our ideas and had great ones of her own. Her location suggestion was also amazing, pictures look great! Day of event he and Juli arrived early and were ready to capture . He even sent me email letting me know he was there and waiting. I met both and was immediately sparked by their warm and bubbly personalities. You can tell right of the bat they love love what they do!!! They have several cameras working and adjusting according to lightening etc... You could also tell they actually knew what they were doing and not posing as photographers. I'm always happy when I get quality professional people and I know my money was well spent. For the event of two hours I paid 300.00 for unlimited shots for the evening. At this point in the review the party is just a couple days old so I haven't gotten my proofs just yet so I can't comment on that but I am sure they will look and be perfect as the meticulous craft these two have I'm sure to be pleased. I found this person on groupon. I was actually looking for the company that took my outdoor family…read morepictures 3 years ago but unfortunately I could not find that company :( I searched for reviews on the the photographer online before I committed but unfortunately I could not find any, so I decided to take a chance and go for it. I did notice a few red flags but she seemed nice and I figured, why not give her a chance? When I first contacted her, I asked her if her groupon or her facebook special was a better value and she suggested that her facebook special was better which was $100, 45 min 20-30 images. I agreed, booked, and paid. We also agreed on a location that she choose based on my requirements (outdoors and near water) The night (10:27pm) before the shoot she sent me a message saying that we should switch locations and/or the time of the shoot because of the sun. I was really confused and upset because she choose the location and said she had shot their many times. Didn't you already know the sun would be an issue, why are you telling me this the night before??? She suggested moving to a location without water which I had already told her that a location with water was a non-negotiable or moving the shoot 3 hours back. She eventually agreed to keep the shoot at the same time and location b/c the weather report was suggesting an overcast. The shoot went relatively well, but I was very disappointed at her lack of creativity. We got very few poses and there were several shots with small things that I feel the photographer should have noticed and told us fix (ex. my husband's (transition) glasses were tinted or the way feet were positioned). After the shoot, I asked her when the photos would be ready and she said tomorrow. The next day, my husband went to get the CD and it would not work, I tried it on multiple devices and told her and she suggested it was my problem and not hers. She said she would email them (and she did), but not all of them. ((Up until this point I would give her 2 stars)) I then asked when I would get the rest of them and she went on a very long rant about how she had gone above and beyond for me and how she needed take care of her 6 kids, husband, etc. A few days later, I messaged her again and let her know I still had not gotten the rest of my pics. She finally did send them. In conclusion, her photography skills are mediocre. I put too much time, energy, and money into this shoot and I was unhappy with the final product. She sent me several pictures that I could not use, pictures with poor lighting, and pictures that needed editing. Now I need to find someone to help me edit the pictures as I am absolutely done dealing with her. I would not use her again or recommend. Her customer service skills are horrible. I will not recommend.

Family photos are always a stressful experience for me, trying to get children ready, keep them clean, and get 4 young children to smile and focus. This photographer managed to capture beautiful photos of my children that showed their individual personalities. I love how patient she was with my busy 2 year old twins and managed to get amazing shots even with them running away from the camera. She took individuals of each person, mom with girls, dad with son, mom and dad, family, etc. I was promised 7-10 digital images and was provided so many more. We originally signed up for a 10-15 minute mini-session that turned into an hour long session at no extra charge. This year (2016) we chose to use Knightly Photography again. Once again she did not disappoint. She is the most patient photographer I have ever dealt with. She makes a usually stressful experience easy on mom. No other photographer gives you more photos than promised and gets them to you the next day. I admit she does not do extensive editing, but I like the fact that my pictures represent what we actually look like. I like that she captures my kids being kids and not posed statues. She has always been extremely flexible and honest with me about location and lighting. I was promised an email with pictures the next day, but was contacted by the photographer who explained that there were so many good ones she wanted to meet me and give me a disk with all the photos instead of emailing a few. This was not at all an inconvenience since she was going above and beyond to give me more than I asked for and even paid for. If you are looking for a photographer who will pose you and do extensive editing, this may not be the photographer for you. If you are looking for someone who loves children and photographs them doing what they do best (being kids), someone who will spend as much time with your family to get the shot vs. telling you your 10 minutes is up, and someone who gives you so many photos at a reasonable price then this is definitely the photographer for you. I have referred her and know the families I referred have been as happy with the results as I have been. Knightly Photography will taking my family photos for years to come.

Just had my fantastic Hawt Shots session! The entire process was flawless. Theresa Mocini is…read moreoutstanding in her customer service orientation. I only had a small window I could go for a shoot and, even though I wasn't able to give her much notice and she's officially booked through August, she juggled things around to fit me in. I then received a tips email and a reminder email prior to the session. Her studio is quite inconspicuous on the outside. Once inside there's a pleasant sitting area, a makeover room and a lovely boudoir room. Theresa starts by reviewing the process step-by-step including photo purchase options. I really appreciated everything being clarified up front like that. Then off to the boudoir room (no hair/makeup for me this time) and again Theresa carefully reviewed the game plan. 3 wardrobe changes, 3 poses per wardrobe change, and varity within the pose (look up, look at me, look over your shoulder, that sort of thing). Theresa demonstrated the poses and had lots of patience with me as I did my best to replicate them :-) The hour flew by and the pace was fast, yet eveything was relaxed and we had fun along the way chitchatting about all sorts of stuff. She shared some raw results in her viewfinder which were outstanding. I'm a long way from photogenic but Theresa obviously knows just what to do to accenuate your positives, hide your negatives and make you look good. Looking at her work on her web site and Facebook page she spends a lot of painstaking time on retouching to ensure providing results that delight.

How is it that all the 5 star ratings are missing from the reviews and only the negative ones are showing up?? Hmmmm...a little biased? Now on the to the most important part, the actual review. I initially received a Groupon from my husband as a gift to go to Hawt Shots. I am not an insecure woman, however, I am a plus size woman and have had some seriously negative experiences with other photographers. In addition to that, my husband gave me the gift when I was 7 months pregnant with our miracle baby. Every preconceived notion I had about Theresa was blown away. I try not to judge a book by a cover, but my initial thoughts were, "What does this gorgeous, petite, woman, know about posing my pregnant plus size curves?" Boy would she prove me wrong. My photos were amazing and worth every penny. My first session was March 9, 2013. I would come back again to have photos done of my daughter and I together after she was born. Then again for Christmas 2013. I will be back again for our anniversary this year!! I love Theresa's work so much that I gladly volunteer to promote her work, to tell other woman about her, and hand out her cards. She loves her job and she loves helping women fulfill their beauty potential and empowering them. She was made for this job. She loves it and she loves the women she works for. She truly does not care what size you are what your insecurities are. She will help you love parts of you that you didn't know was possible. Right from the start Laura was so friendly and really understood what I wanted.
