I have been seeing Lindsay nearly every week for almost 2 years and I can say I have never felt better. I came Simply Stretch after years and years of various running injuries and trying literally EVERYTHING else (including other stretch places) This is different - they really take the time here to understand the problem and make sure to tailor a treatment to your individual issue - whether it is fascial stretching, gratson, cupping, etc. I always walk home feeling 100% better than when I walk in. Every time I feel sore/tight, I normally go the cheap massage places because... I am cheap. BUT a lot of people at my gym were talking about Simply Stretch, so I decided to give them a try. I am 4 visits in and I LOVE it. Yes, it's definitely more expensive than those Asian massage places, but you leave feeling 100 times better and ready to tackle on the next workout or workday. They know what they are doing/stretching, why/where your body is hurting and how to help you feel better... so definitely worth it. I've gone to Lindsey, Kim and Flo, and they are all great. Lindsey and Kim are great at stretching your body in ways that you want to stretched yourself, but just can't. They also have different techniques to help work out the kinks in your body. Afterwards, I feel inches taller and my mobility feels so much better. Flo is awesome because she gets at my knots... and I have a lot of knots that needed to get fix. I want my shoulder to feel like how it did after the session FOREVER! Overall, Simply Stretch is worth every penny! It's a good way to recover after hours of training and working. I was having so much pain in my hips from running that I ended up at the orthopedist thinking something was seriously wrong. He told me I had tight hip flexors and send me to UCLA physical therapy. They couldn't see me for several weeks so in desperation I turned to google and luckily for me I found Lyndsey and Simply Stretch. After our first session I cancelled UCLA. It was remarkable how after one session my flexibility in that area increased. Within one month I was running pain free. What I like about Lindsey is she not only stretches you out she also gives you simple stretches and exercises to do at home to increase strength and flexibility. Not only am I running pain free, I have also not found it necessary to visit the chiropractor since starting with Lindsey. Found Simply Stretch on Instagram. I liked that they were attached to a Crossfit, and that they treated different kinds of athletes/non-athletes. I have very bad posture, upper back/neck tightness, and bad overhead mobility. I've been to numerous physical therapists and chiropractors trying to fix my problems, but nothing worked. I started off with 3 sessions with Lindsay and immediately felt and saw the difference. She took some before and after pictures of my progress, and the difference was amazing. During my sessions she really took the time to answer any questions I had, and explained what she was doing as she was doing it. I went back for another 3 sessions and the progress was so good that the last session I asked her to work on my hip instead. I recently went to SS LA to work out some issues I was having with pretty serious pain in my neck. Prior to going, I would say my pain was 8/10 that morning. After meeting Courtney and discussing what was bothering me, she got to work. She was very gentle, yet firm which I liked and all the tools she used on me really made a difference at that moment and beyond. She did an amazing job with helping relieve the pain in my neck and was super friendly and great to chat with while getting the procedure. Over the past 7 years I've seen more doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, etc... than I'd care to remember due to an injury from a car accident all those years ago. Unfortunately nothing has really helped in any significant way and I was beginning to accept the fact that I would most likely be in pain for the foreseeable future. Then one day Lindsay and Simply Stretch LA were recommended to me and everything has started to slowly change for the better since then. Not only have I gotten the most relief after seeing Lindsay than any of those others but I've felt the most listened to and heard. She takes the time to explain her approach and then adjust it as necessary, always making sure to include you in these changes. It's not a magic pill that fixes everything immediately (as those obviously don't exist) but it is a more targeted, custom approach than I've experienced before, and it seems to be working. Most importantly to me, Lindsay isn't focused on finding a temporary solution that acts as a band-aid. She wants to get to the root of whatever the problem is and do her best to try and fix it permanently. Just go with Flo! I had my first session with her and it was amazing! She guided me with my breathing as she stretched me every which way. I came in with hip flexors that at times "lock up," lower back and neck pain. When I tell you that she found and worked every knot (as much as she could, I kept wincing). She used the graston technique and boy oh boy did that get at my trouble areas. I'm pretty sure I said at one point, "it's intense but good." I felt such a relief in my neck area. She gave me tips about how sit at my desk to keep my neck tension free. My hips and lower back felt much better. I went to kickboxing the next day and did not experience any difficulty with the roundhouse kicks. I even noticed more flexibility with the kicks! I walked out feeling amazing. I've always had issues w tight muscles even though I stretch and do yoga; I also get cupping and massages a few times a month. I met Lindsay when I first started Crossfit a year ago and was having issues with my overhead mobility and overall tightness in my legs. Over the past few months, I've experienced quite a bit of knee pain and soreness due to my hips, quads, glutes and IT bands being very tight. I went to an hour long stretch session with Lindsey and the results were amazing. I felt less stiff and more mobile after and a lot of the pain I was experiencing was eased. Lindsey's stretching techniques were far more advance than anything I've experienced before (being someone who is professionally stretched often.) I loved her use of the Graston Technique on my quads and IT band area. That tool is a miracle worker! I started working with Lindsay about a year ago after starting CrossFit. I was noticing issues with my mobility and with shoulder and hip pain. I'm a physical therapist, and I felt I could benefit from some fascial stretching and graston work. I had a blast talking with Lindsay during our session, and I am so thrilled with the results.
