Wow, Wow, Wow, we called three tree trimmer business at 430p on a Thursday. Within 45 minutes we got a call back from Larry "Simply Trees". He was at our home within an hour after we made the initial call and the tree was trimmed and done within an hour. Simply Amazing! Talkin with Larry it became very clear that his main concerns were his customers being happy and that he loves nature. His customer service and knowledge was unbelievable. Larry was awesome, he came out promptly when we called, checked out our sick tree thoroughly and told us what to do to help our tree stay alive because he didn't want to cut down a tree that didn't need to be removed. An hour prior to his visit another company told me that the tree was dead and quoted me a ridiculously high price to remove it. We are taking Larry's directions on further care and keeping our fingers crossed it gets healthy. I did ask him what his price point would be for removal, in the case in which it needed to be taken down and it was considerably lower and much more reasonable than the other company. Before he left our property, he gave us some tips on tree care for our other trees and even cut a large limb off of another tree on the spot, spending an extra 30-45 minutes doing so, all free of charge. Simply Trees did a through, professional, job while removing multiple trees on my property. A few trees were dead and leaning towards a neighbors power line. By using their bucket truck and securing the trees with rope , they reduced the trees safely right down to the stump. Safety is always concern when contractor work on your property and the Simply Tree Crew were conscientious and careful in preforming their job. I would hire them again and will recommend them to anyone who asks if I know of a good arbor service. I will add that the crew was friendly and they gladly answered a few questions that arose during the job. Larry and his Simply Trees crew responded to my call for help immediately after the tornado in Coralville/IC of 3-31-23 knocked my birch tree onto my gutter in my backyard. Despite being very busy and it being a Saturday morning, Larry dropped everything because he wanted to help me prevent further damage to my home. Besides being completely professional, efficient, safe, and affordable, they are also a very caring and human group of folks. They clearly care about helping people and they care about trees too! Larry trimmed a large oak tree in our backyard was very professional, he used rope to bring down branches so they came down gently, Last week when storms went through we lost a large branch fell onto deck and house. We called Larry at 7am he was here within 30 to 45 min got branch of roof and deck came back later in week to clean up because he had other emergency trees to deal with. He came cleaned up yard, it looked better than before he took branches down. Larry is very knowledge about trees and a great guy. Larry was quick, thorough, efficient, and effective in cutting down and removing an almost 40 ft tall tree that fell in a wind storm the previous night. He said he'd come back to grind out the stump and root. He came back in a few days, much quicker than I thought. His price was reasonable.
