Hands down, best tree service in the area. I had HUGE sweet gum trees (like, 60 foot tall!) and a funky-shaped maple tree in my yard with a weird lean to it and tall enough to hit my house and gutters. Rather than try to cut them myself, I called Simpson's and they sent out Dallas. Dallas was awesome. He's been dropping trees for 20 years and knew exactly what to do. He fixed a crappy wedge cut I made on one tree and pulled it over with his truck in no time flat. Then, he rigged up the maple to a re-director, cut a wedge and while I backed his truck up he sliced through the tree and dropped it exactly where he said it would go. The setup looked like a Rube Goldberg machine, but it worked perfectly. Didn't hit anything but the dirt! Then, after all that, he showed me what I had done wrong cutting down some of the other trees. So not only did I get great tree service, but I got a lesson in tree cutting from an expert. Sure enough, two days later I used what he taught me and dropped my last two trees without incident and exactly where I wanted them to land. These guys rock. Good prices, good service, good people. First review from last February I had inadvertently placed on wrong company page. : Feb 12, 2023 Did a great job. Fairly priced. Completely cleaned up. I had a tree in the front yard that the power company cut back from power lines. They cut off so much that I think the already half dead tree was weakened. A storm came, and a branch broke off on my roof. Thanfully, the roof was not damaged . They removed the branch from my roof. Felled the tree methodically, cleaned up. Job well done. June 26, My neighbors tree fell. She is elderly and I called to see if she was doing ok and see if she had someone lined up to take care of her tree because if not I had a good recommendation. She said she didn't and asked me to take care of the communication scheduling etc. I was glad to help as she is a great friend as well. Called Adam and got things scheduled and also added a tacked town of two little trees in my yard. Rain postponed things for a week which is fine and understandable for sure. The very first dry day the team arrived and Lickety split before I wondered how they were progressing I looked out the window and they were nearly done. He explained how his team would do the work, the time involved, & quoted me a more than fair price based on other estimates I had received. His crew showed up promptly the next day, knocked out the job, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up after themselves which was extremely appreciated. We had them out to give us an estimate and they told us the job would run us $9,800. We went ahead and hired them, got the cashier's check, and began scheduling one of our home improvement items that depend on having the trees removed. After a little bit of time passed the "other owner" came out to "reassess" the job. He then changed the estimate to $15,000 and said he wouldn't be interested in doing the job for less than that. Now I have to reschedule the patio installation while I search for a reputable tree company. The experience was a bit predatory. Look elsewhere. read more

Like (from what I see) several others, whom I see on the tread, I fell victim to contacting this company not following through: I attempted to schedule to have my tree looked at for pruning on a Saturday. Called the company and provided the man who answered with my address and was informed that someone would come out on the next day to my home to view the job. NOBODY called or arrived the ENTIRE day. I tried to set up an appointment for a quote to use their services and no one showed up or called me back . I left a email that evening inquiring as to why no one showed up and received an apology and also his word that he would handle it personally . The date that he offered which was the following day was not good for me and I told him as so, but I suggested doing it to Thursday or Friday which no further contact came after that . I waited all day Thursday expecting at least a phone call and heard nothing . We all go through things but to have a perspective client treat it like this is not what I'm looking forward to . Everyone was super kind and they worked diligently. We had trees out front (i forgot to take pics of) trimmed up and they looked so much better when they finished. We had 2-3 trees in the back taken out and then a huge stump/growth taken out. They ground everything up and cleaned up any mess that may have been left. The following week their grinder guy came out to grind the stumps in the back so they don't grow back and he was super kind as well.
