All are welcome. Music is a mixture of Contemporary with a few hymns. They have a great Youth group as well as classes for all ages. The church is over 100 years old. (Not the building). There's also a dial-in option for people who can't make it in person to the service. Parking is easy, and finding the place is simple - the same block as the Yellow Cat Cafe. The church offers plenty of social programs, including board game nights, reading groups, adult education, dinners, and other gatherings. There is currently no minister so the services are created by members of the congregation, each with its own unique and special flavor, including services centered on atheism, humanism, paganism, poetry, to name a few recent ones, and the accompanying music is always lovely. The space is rentable for events such as weddings, memorial services, and other gatherings.

However, I feel they have really stepped up and are moving in a positive direction. The pastor is animated and not for everyone. The music can be loud but the singers are talented and the songs are good! They welcome the lifting of hands and everything is done in decency and in order. No one ever feels pressure to be anything but themselves here. And all are welcome. They preach an uncompromising gospel. The thing I like best, though, is that this church is full of genuine, caring people. I have made so many friends here in a very short time. Friends that are solid in their faith, loving and supportive. I am very contented to continue fellowshipping with these folks and supporting this pastor! Oh, and the staff....love 'em!

But I love the preaching, honest, truthful, but with grace which is what I'm looking for. I live in another state, and I would like to find a church that is multicultural and a pastor like Pastor Mark Lantz , who is not afraid to teach all of the bible. I find a lot of church pastors steer away from teaching certain parts of the bible for fear members will leave. So I tithe to this church until I can find one where you come as you are, its not a fashion show, and miracles happen.
