Miss Jackie took my daughter in as an evaluation as a new 5 year old and fell in love with her. Her technique and ability to teach and connect with little ones is so amazing. I don't know how a 5 year old manages to follow and remember everything she says. My daughter self sufficiently trains herself everyday whether it is breathing, warm ups, pitch, ear training, theory, or posture because Miss Jackie said to. Miss Jackie is one with her students and finds ways to unlock their potentials. It's hard to find a teacher that is so in tune with their students and she tries to challenge them to explore their ranges and genres. It's refreshing to hear my daughter sing things from musicals, pop, rock, and even the oldies. She doesn't only teach singing the way the kids will understand, she teaches them how to tell a story with the song in their performances or auditions. My daughter is learning about objectives and audiences to connect to the music to bring the song to life. It's so nice that Miss Jackie works with the parents and helps the kids in anyway she can. Because of Miss Jackie's eye and guidance for the last 4+ years, my daughter has been singing on stage, dabbled commercial/film acting, performed musical theater/plays, and has experience in voice over acting. She has given us the most beautiful gift and has become like family. Every week, she pours into our daughter and gives her not just an amazing voice lesson, but so much more! She is helping her read music and really understand the songs she is performing. She helps with audition tips, acting and so much more. I learned of their services, available agreement options, and a trial offering program. With this in mind, I scheduled our first "trial" lesson. However, when we arrived, we were to discover that the administrator had neglected to schedule the appointment with the instructor. Worse, that instructor was not accepting students on our preferred day, despite our originally having been informed otherwise. With forgiveness and hope encouraged by the quality of the facility and its popularity, we scheduled an alternative instructor and, for a time, enjoyed lessons as scheduled and of great quality. However, several months later, our instructor chose to pursue other endeavors resulting in our transfer to yet another teacher. We remained committed and continued on. In the coming months, we were to be treated to multiple, same-day cancellations via text from our instructor. "Multiple" representing the majority, of which there were also a handful of others with no more than a day or two of notice. When this occurred, we agreed with our instructor to lengthen subsequent lessons by the time missed due to cancellation. However, there was never a clear accounting provided and management, despite the number of occurrences, chose to never contact us directly. After about six occurrences impacting our weekly lesson within a little over three months, the last without promised response concerning rescheduling received at all, we finally chose to cancel our agreement and provided the required 30-day written notice to do so. Management acknowledged our cancellation, informed us of a pro-rated amount yet to be billed, and offered lessons for other instruments; without expressed concern for cause or further effort to retain. We declined. If...you live within a mile or two of the school, are incredibly flexible with your schedule, have no concern for regularity, and have no need for enhanced services such as web-based student/teacher portals; the North Fulton School of Music may be for you. Alternatively, and unfortunately, you may wish to pursue your lessons via a JoyfulTunes application as we ended up doing. It capably demonstrates as much concern as that which we experienced.

They worked with me after I initially signed up for a service I discovered I couldn't receive due to scheduling and reworked my plan for private lessons with Jeremie (who was always kind). I made a few mistakes in interpreting the contract I had signed and sent a few emails to Tammy Simon, which were met with condescension and impatience. She made me feel, for lack of a better term, stupid, for not understanding the contract in terms of billing and trying to cancel my lessons. All in all, I believe I took 2 lessons with Jeremie but paid for three months of lessons after being pressured to pay to comply with the contract. I missed a mid month payment date and didn't realize, in the third month. I asked to cancel but Tammy again sent me the terms of the contract. I quietly paid for all lessons I missed and thought I was in the clear until I was billed for the next month. I tried to explain to Tammy, who was very kind the first time I spoke with her on the phone, but every email we had afterwards made me feel bad about myself. I was never seeking a refund or anything like that. I had certain things going on in my life that prevented me from taking lessons. I did not want to create waves and thought I was done paying for them. Had to pay for the final month anyway. Tammy responded once because she eventually realized I wasn't making it to my lessons I guess? She sent me an email offering for rescheduling for the final month to which I replied I had been sick and I hadn't been able to take lessons, nor was I planning on taking more. No response after that. If you can pay for lessons this is a wonderful place to go to. Tara and her coaches are amazing. Tammy will be kind too until you misinterpret the contract. I have never felt so bad about myself before. She made me feel like I was a street urchin trying to get a refund, even though I was trying to honor the contract and pay for the lessons I never took. I am heartbroken from this experience as I know Tara is a good person but Tammy is unkind and I just wanted people to know that. I fully expect Tammy to post all of our emails here like she always does. Wish it weren't that way. I was aggressively pressured into purchasing lessons from them on social media in private messages from someone representing Tara. I'm on the spectrum and even though I recognize when people are taking advantage of me, I really wanted to work with Tara so I folded. I hate leaving reviews like this but I am out about $1k from this experience and Tammy is not nice, and people who are financially predatory need to be called out. They got their money. I got two lessons. Edit: After reviewing my records, I was able to take 3 lessons. I'm out closer to $2k. I was reprimanded for a late payment on at least one occasion, to which I did not dispute. Paid it without question, although this was on February 25th, and the last lesson I was able to attend was in December. I have emails and records from all of my interactions with this studio. Like I said, if you pay on time and hold up your contract, enjoy the service. The instructors and Tara know what they are doing. Tara needs to rework her admin team. I left this experience thoroughly hurt by Tammy Simon. She made me feel uneducated, uncomfortable, and subordinate in her emails.

Cancellation should be a lot easier since they offer a guarantee. They should respond to their customer service email.
