I recommended every parent to come here even if they have a slight doubt of coming. I didn't think my son needs speech therapy at first but his preschool teacher recommended it, since she was able to spot out that when he pronounce certain vowels it's off a bit. My family was saying it's a common thing with young kids; I replied that it be common but it doesn't have to be the "norm". In my culture, therapy is seen as a negative and for your child to see someone for that it's not normal. I think it's absolutely normal and why not give it a shot then determine if it's the right then for your child. Fluens is THE best!…read more I have two kiddos receiving speech therapy, this is the 3rd place we have been to in the past 5 years and hands down I'm so thankful we found Fluens! They are all super friendly and compassionate. at the last place we went (MMG in Lakewood) it was not a great experience & after almost a year they ended up having issues with our insurance and would not take on my other kiddo due to being "too full" any who Fluens is great my kids have advance so much since we made the switch and best of all there is NOT a high turnover (like MMG) and my kiddos love their teachers! He finds out about the type of work you do, activities you've been involved in, if you've have past problems similar. He's good at helping get a plan of action tailored to your specific needs to help either keep from making the problem worse or help make it better including gentle stretch moves using bands or your own body weight. He helps you localize the stretch and In some cases its about finding ways to give you relief throughout the day so you can carry on doing your regular duties. Overall he plants the seed of information in your head so when the therapy appointments end, you can continue on with the plan of action and help build on to what he's shown you in the clinical setting. He wants everyone to have a quality life by minimizing pain and taking care of the hips, and back which are key for any kind of activity. Noone enjoys going through xrays, MRI"s pain injections, more Dr visits because it costs a tiny fortune and it's stressful. I would suggest Matt if you must see a PT at St. Francis
