You don't really expect a truck stop in the middle of nowhere out here on the highway, I-77 that is, south of 70, and I guess most don't, as very few people use it for this reason. So this particular truck stop is usually pretty quiet and it's definitely more geared towards truckers than travelers, because that's who uses this road. I'm glad it's here and it helps, even though it's a chain truck stop. So all in all, this is a good truck stop in the middle of nowhere where you wouldn't really expect a truck stop.

I carelessly forgot my crossbody bag in the restroom and did not realize that until it was three hours away in the PA turnpike. My cell phone and wallet with driver's license are in the bag. I called the shop with very little hope that my bag is still there. Fortunately, Alison found the bag and since my driver's license is in the bag, she confirmed it by asking my name. Alicia who is one of the store managers informed me that she will keep it at a safe place for me. On Monday, I called the store again talking to the store general manager Rachel to see if there is a good way to send the bag to me. Since FedEx and UPS are not accessible at the location, Rachel went to the local post office mailed the bag to me during her lunch break. She even sends me the tracking so I can view the update. I want to thank Rachel and others for their kindness, and I may go to say thank you in person when I stop by next time.

(There's no kiosk for "stale food," so if you're looking for something expired, you're out of luck.) There are lots of tables, so you can sit and relax a bit, or as much as you can relax at a gas station. According to my children, this is the coolest gas station ever. Apparently, Sheetz is doing a promotion with Fortnite, and if you enter a code (there are codes all over the convenience store), you can drop into a special Fortnite world? Something like that -- I'm sure people who play Fortnight will know what's going on. So if you're into Fortnite and you read this relatively soon, you should visit a Sheetz to get a code and do Fortnite things. They do not have car vacuums here, FYI.

I don't normally review convenience stores but I'll make the exception here because of how…read moreimportant this place was for a festival experience happening within walking distance: this place is SO much better this year than last year with the new upgrades. This new modernization came with several key upgrades: a open floor interior that feels spacious and has plenty of options, cleaner bathroom airport-style, a chipotle style spot to order food that's half the price of the music festival food nearby, and tons of other stuff like alcohol/drinks at the normal, non-price gouged prices compared to festival drinks. As for the food, I'll have to say it's better than average for gas station food. They primarily serve in a chipotle style, order as you go takeout with burritos, bowls, chips. It is pretty unsalted but I kind of prefer it that way due to how much salt you get from eating camp food for many days. Price ranges from $5-9 which is much cheaper than at the Legend Valley grounds. Overall I'm posting this so that people know that the old reviews are outdated by several years.
