I've had three surgeries and visited with orthos and therapists dozens of times in the years since. I don't think I've ever had as disappointing an experience as I had here at Western Ortho. I visited with Dr. Sanderford for help with my chronic pain, and he ordered x rays and an MRI. In total across a few visits, I probably spent 15 minutes speaking with the doctor. We elected not to pursue a 4th surgery, and that was really the end of the care I received. I was supposed to be referred to another specialist but they never sent that referral. I requested a refill on an anti-inflammatory prescribed by Dr Dovey, who also works there, but they wanted me to make another appointment. I asked if they'd write me a letter to use my HSA on therapy equipment but they refused that as well. This office billed me thousands for the 15 minutes I got to talk to the Dr., but it's clear they couldn't care less about me or my health. They just want to run your card and get you out of their office. Do not come here for care, you will not receive it. - Brian

If you have ANY other choice in who you visit, take that option for your own sake. I'd hate for anyone to be in the position that I've been put in as a result of their incompetence and unprofessionalism. From waiting months on end to get an mri approval, constant feet dragging, incorrect diagnosis, and even blatant refusal to send further imaging orders, they have let me down every step of the way. I am now forced to find a component doctor before my atrophy, and numbness become permanent.

Every therapist I've had has been knowledgeable and cooperative. They've all helped me attain strength and greater range of motion. Everyone also took great care of my dad, and he was able to stay out of a nursing home, thanks in part to the therapy he received at In Motion. I'm very grateful to all of them for the care we've received. There is one person though, that does not take very good care of customers. Her name is Donna and I believe she's responsible for scheduling and greeting patients. Several times I've seen her on her phone, while I was standing at the desk, waiting to check in. She's called me to schedule my appointments and she's just curt. She's rude and for some strange reason, it's like she's angry with me. That I know of, I've never done anything to her. I've worked in the customer service field for 30+ years. Her demeanor is, hands down, some of the worst I've ever encountered. I hope she'll find a way to communicate with customers that isn't so angry. I actually feel sorry for her. As I've said though, everyone else there is awesome. I won't let Donna's attitude dissuade me from finishing my therapy, or from saying great things about everyone else there.

Not the normal patient here, My Mom is no fancy athlete, just an unlucky older lady who slipped and…read morefell at the Starbucks in Montrose on our way to CB : ( So glad the urgent care in Montrose I found on here wasn't there any more, and the Mountain Clinic in CB was closed weekdays for off-season, b/c we ended up finding that Alpine takes emergency ortho cases and lucked into being able to see Dr. Beim right away instead of going to some blah urgent care doc or dealing with an ER. Unfortunately my Mom did fracture her wrist and elbow in the fall, but Dr. Beim was able to set the wrist nicely and give her a soft cast and pain med recommendations so she could be setup well as she waits to get surgery at home. There was no wait anytime along the way, and everyone was very kind to my poor Mom. Thanks guys!
