All the shakes are under 300 calories (but none taste like it ). The owner is super friendly and has done an amazing job decorating the space. A few weeks ago, I noticed there was some kind of tea store in the newer strip mall by Milford High, and today, I finally wandered in. The store itself is kind of small, but the assortment of loose teas was impressive. The owner was quick to greet me, and I admitted my weird need to acquire a taste for tea, as well as my complete ignorance to loose leaf tea. I was offered samples, and Lisa took the time to explain different methods of making tea, which I thought was helpful. In addition to tea, there's a small selection of filters, brewing baskets, tea pots, and other accessories. Since I didn't know much about the items, I opted for a box of filters. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I had paid 50% less than Amazon's price. Whoa. So, with the filters, I obviously bought some tea. And, I'm happy to report that Earl Grey Cream is by far, the best tea I've ever tried. Was it expensive? Yeah, maybe. But so worth it. From what I saw, you can have actual tea parties here, too. I'm not in to that, but they seem pretty serious about it. I also saw that they do tasting every Tuesday night. I think I'll be there for that. The only downside is that this strip mall seems cursed. Besides Hungry Howie's and Dairy Queen, this is where entrepreneurs take their dreams to die. Honestly, I think this could take off in the Village of Milford. Or, maybe enough people will stumble in and have their perceptions changed, like me. I know this much: I'm going to need a steady supply of Earl Grey Cream.

Compared to other big "chain" coffee shops, Scooters has a similarly sized menu, which different options for everybody. I tried a S'mores Cream Cold Brew and although it was a touch too sweet, it was such a treat! Next time I'l ask for less syrup. I also tried their Maple Waffle sandwich with sausage, and now I have to get it every time I stop there. I'ts. So. Good! It makes me feel like I'm a getting a grown up McDonalds breakfast sandwich, but in the very best way.

There are a few places to sit and wait for your order, but it's the not vibe of somewhere you'd hang out with some friends while enjoying your drinks. The number of fruit teas was a bit disappointing, and unfortunately, they didn't offer any of the staple flavors I'd expect from other boba locations. Ultimately, we ordered the classic milk tea and horchata millk tea with tapioca. The milk tea was your standard fare, but the tapioca was overcooked. Mostly mush, less chew. We'll skip this boba location in the future. There are other options with better quality.

But I didn't give up I went online and through a search on Google I was able to find Norm's Ice Cream and they had a website! When I went to their website it said they HAVE AND SOLD Toasted Almond Bars & I was so thrilled!!! I placed an order online and purchased 2 boxes of them. Oh & I ended up buying other great ones like original Choco Tacos, Chocolate Eclairs, Strawberry Shortcake bars, Bomb Pops, Screwballs and sooooo much more!! It was like being a kid again finding all the good oldies!! It was a bit of a drive to Milford from Warren but I didn't care! When I arrived at Norm's Ice Cream all the staff were super nice and friendly & extremely helpful!!! I realized when I got half way there that I forgot to bring my cooler bags!! I was so upset and the older gentleman that was getting my order together said don't worry we will figure it out so that my whole order doesn't melt on the drive back home in 89 degree weather!! I can't thank them enough for making sure that nothing melted & they made this old lady feel like a young kid again running after the ice cream truck to get my favorite Toasted Almond Good Humor bar!!!
