I enjoyed the corned beef hash skillet because it had a good balance of flavors and the corned beef itself was perfectly cooked for great texture. The green juice was delicious and refreshing, not overly sweet and not bitter at all. Anna's House has multiple locations in Michigan and we stopped at the Milford location for breakfast. We were seated immediately and our server Amanda was super friendly. My wife loved that they had so many GF items. We saw the portions were large so we split the California Omelette and Cinnamon Roll. The omelette had bacon, avocado, tomato and cream cheese. Very flavorful except the avocado and creme cheese made it slightly cold. My wife loved the GF cinnamon roll and their coffee. Their menu is extensive with classic breakfast items, benedicts,sweet and savory selections plus omelets and vegan items. Open daily 7-3pm. Definitely one of Michigan's best restaurants for breakfast,brunch and lunch. read more

Was very pleased to see that this establishment followed suit with the other one in Westland. The service was great! The hostess got us seated quickly and server was polite and attentive. The food was spot on. My wife and I shared a vegan breakfast burrito and it was enough to fill us both up. The restaurant like the Westland location have a very good vibe and has the same decor of the 50/60's diner. When I visit Milford again I will definitely be coming back here. read more

Excellent option for all dietary needs. Vegan boyfriend had the best breakfast ever here- the Big Breakfast with eggs, sausage, and pancakes reminded him of not being vegan. The coffee is a light roast- easy drinking and easy on the tummy with unlimited refills in fun mugs. Our Monday morning visit was surprisingly busy and had us waiting 10-15min for a table when walking in at 11am. That speaks to the quality and consistency of Anna's house. Unfortunately they probably needed more servers than they had (employment openings?!) and the host was doing double duty cleaning tables to seat people. Even on a slim crew, food came out quickly, coffee and water were regularly replenished and we never wanted for anything, so the team effort is strong. The monte Cristo was pretty good. This isn't a 5 star restaurant by any means, but the service was good and fast. Giving 3 stars because the food was pretty mediocre for the price. This place is always packed, and I've stopped in on two occasions. The service is outstanding and the restaurant has a happy, vibrant vibe. They have a great menu for the vegan/healthy eater. For me, the food is just meh. Both times I've ordered hash browns, and I struggle to understand the finished product. The first time they were cooked down to nothing, just hard crispy pieces of potato. The second time it seemed like they had been sitting around for a long time and were cold. My omelet was very dry, overcooked and flavorless. I don't expect homemade gravy because it's just a lot for most restaurants, but the texture and flavor of their gravy is not appealing. I do like their biscuits, and their sausage patties are very good. One thing that is fascinating is that their booths are very narrow. I wouldn't consider either me or my husband to be over weight, but we cannot sit in their booths comfortably and we are booth people. Overall, I don't think I would go back unless I was with folks that are looking for Vegan options. read more

This is our third Anna's that we have visited. We came here for brunch. I loved the coffee, it was piping hot and delicious and bold. I always love places with mismatched mugs and different creamers and sugars. It was quality coffee from Zingerman's. I am a fan. The server was very nice and helpful. I love the old timey décor, it is so cute and It makes the visit even better. I love the variety of food here but I crave their chocolate quinoa bowl. I like to get it minus walnuts add M&M's, it is magical. I also tried their corned beef hash with a sunny side up egg. This is an elevated hash unlike the stuff that comes in the can, which crispy potatoes, a hint of thyme, and big slices of corned beef. It is a must try side. We also had the big breakfast plate with eggs, chicken sausage, and chocolate chip pancakes. Those pancakes were delicious with crispy edges and a really nice batter. All of their food looks so good. I would love to try their lunch menu, but I am such a creature of habit, it would really be hard to not have that chocolate quinoa bowl since it is so unique. Had brunch here a few months ago and it was a nice experience. We chose to come in on a weekday as to avoid weekend crowds. After promptly being seated, we were served by an attentive waitress and had no problems with our order, as others on here have mentioned. My husband and I shared a small sampler plate of breakfast tots, billion dollar bacon, and waffles with fresh fruit. It was a great way to try some of their most popular items in one dish and we finished it all. I ordered the Nut & Berry Salad with chicken, and was delighted by every bite. Hubbs got the Chicken Sausage Tater Tot Casserole and cleared his plate, but also said there was way too much onion & sour cream on it. The atmosphere inside is bright, colorful, and clean, service was efficient and just how we ordered it. All in all this is a good place to grab some breakfast or lunch in the Milford area. It wasn't anything to write home about, but I'd love to go back and try the Monte Cristo! And I wish they served mimosas and bloody mary's like most brunch-themed restaurants... but hopefully someday they will :) read more

Went to Anna's House in Milford. I will start off with the positives; the cutest decor ever. I love how Anna's House is decorated. Very similar to their Ann Arbor location. It was very busy, but I took advantage of checking in on Yelp, which cut down on our actual waiting. I had the Lavender Maple Latte which was so yummy! My group shared a Monkey Bread and Billion Dollar Bacon. Both were so yummy! I had the Lemon Poppyseed Crepes with Blueberry dressing, it wasn't warm when it came out, but I'll say that the filling cooled it down. My husband enjoyed. Some things that didn't go great, which can happen, but left my group unsatisfied was the timing of items coming out. We were served our food but it was obvious some dishes had been sitting for a bit because they were cold, while some dishes were just warm. My one friend ended up waiting a while for a dish and most of us were done when she finally got it. My other friend order the Twilight French Toast and was not too thrilled that it wasn't toasted. He suggested to rename it Twilight Bread Pudding, because it wasn't fried. Everything came out looking nice, but if everything isn't served at once, at least serve it hot. To start, they will not seat you until your whole party is there. The people in front of us had a total party of 3 but only 2 were there and had to wait for their last one to arrive. We had a party of 5, 3 of us were present and had to wait for our other two to arrive. Have you ever been to a breakfast restaurant that doesn't prepare poached eggs!!!!! Well don't ask for them here because they don't do poached eggs!!! They say 'basted' ' is close! NO it's not. They also don't have sourdough bread!! You would think for the prices they charge you would get REAL syrup..nope, you get horrible imitation syrup. It took two tries to get my eggs right, I ordered over medium and they came out FRIED and brown. Though our waitress was good, we needed to ask to get our coffee refilled. The half and half at the table was curdled and we didn't get spoons for our coffee. Cute ambiance with a small outdoor patio but I wouldn't come back. Too pricey for what you get.
