My truck went in on May 4th and I didn't get it back until May 19th. Made about 4-5 calls to them during this time and was told 'parts are not in yet' several times, then 'parts are in but missing a piece, need to order again'.
On the 19th I called in the morning and asked if the parts were in and they said yes but they were not sure if they would get my truck in because it's a big job! What?? Don't you plan for the work? I expressed my disappointment and frustration (kindly, even after all this) as they had my vehicle for a while. Did end up getting it that day. When I went to pick up my truck they told me that they lost my key fob and replaced it. I was NOT happy, but I kept it cool because since when does violence and rage solve anything?
I asked if that was what took my truck so long to get done and the lady at the desk said, 'well, we can't work on it if we can't move it'
UNREAL!!!? Are you joking me?
They did not even call me to ask for a spare. It was obvious they lied about 'the parts not being in'. Additionally, they did not even replace my fob properly, they gave me some aftermarket bs that doesn't even have the same features as my OG fob. No command start, nothing. NO apologies.
I clearly have the zen of a freakin' monk because even after ALL that, I gave them a week to find my original key fob. Nope, can't find it anywhere. I told them I want a real Dodge key fob, not the crap they gave me. Front desk said ,"i'll get the manager to call you' Obvs, that hasn't happened. I legit have not experienced a shop this jankey in probably ever.
Also, my step dad told me that his buddy had his car at sinkys for 5 weeks for brakes! I mean, they are like a couple of hens and like to cluck so that time is likely exaggerated but take what you will from this review.
If you want to be fed lies like your ex-bf and be treated like a mother-in law that is out to get you, I would say, definitely take your vehicle to Sinkys.
Maybe don't listen to your friends when they recommend a shop to you. read more
