We are big fans of history and graphic design, as well as passionate people with specific interests. We noticed the incredible Art Deco entrance alcove with beautiful stamp displays, and then up the vintage elevator to the top floor, very quiet and mysterious. Through a door into the most incredible stamp museum from all over the world! Awe inspiring colorful designs from all eras, marking major world events of current places and countries long forgotten. And then to find out each stamp is for sale at very affordable prices. While we had no way of communicating due to the language barrier, we were so happy to find the two people there were the sweetest and most welcome hosts, showing us sweeping views of the surrounding city outside of their balcony doors. We bought a few excellent stamps, left them a tip because of the incredible experience that we just had. While maybe not for everybody, definitely a highlight of our entire trip!
