Absolutely loved our time at Sinya! We stayed for two nights. The first night we hiked, charted constellations, and grilled hotdogs. The next day I cooked bacon and eggs on the patio, we read books, had the most AMAZING massages and facials, soaked in the hot tub, grilled burgers, spoke to Patrick the Hummingbird about his territorial tendencies, and relaxed. We loved every bit of this little piece of heaven. Thank you, Susan! Bed was divine. Everything is clean and well-kept. Absolute luxury! Susan pays attention to every detail (from dishes and pans to espresso and olive oil). Fantastic stay. I took a solo trip which was just what I needed. The minute I arrived, I sat on the porch in a chair with a soft blanket and needed to be peeled away. The detail in design is outstanding. I want my house to be just like this and would have purchased every bed linen and towel that touched my skin if it were available for purchase. No TV - just peace and quiet and a soaking tub outdoors, and so many places to sit and take in the views of nature. I'd absolutely go back and highly recommend. read more

My wife and I had a wonderful 3 night stay for a Valentine's Day vacation. Susan was a wonderful hostess, very responsive and helpful with local information. What Lynn has created with this property is a once in a lifetime experience and every detail is well thought out. We spent our fifth wedding anniversary here and really enjoyed ourselves. I like to be outdoors but not to camp and hubs likes to camp. This satisfied both of us since we spent plenty of time outdoors, had camping like activities (ie the fire pit) but also enjoyed running water and a very comfy bed. We could have gone to any big chain hotel and probably have had a lovely night away. But this was so unique. And the solitude really encouraged us to enjoy each other, not watch football games or text with friends. It really was the perfect couple's recharge. Lynn was an excellent hostess. She really thought of everything - wireless speaker that syncs to iPod, lantern, plates, bowls, wine glasses (and plastic ones for the hot tub) and even an iPhone charger so it wouldn't die while I was syncing music to the wireless speaker all night. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this to any couple looking to get out of the busy every day and reconnect with each other. read more

Absolutely perfect weekend getaway! We were worried that it might be too hot inside the tent, as both my husband and I love our room cold, but it was perfect around 70 degrees. I'm sure you could make it warmer if that is too cold, but it was great for us, especially in the summer. Bed was very comfortable and you could just sink in and sleep. I slept so deeply. It was amazing! It is a beautiful, serene place to stay and I could not recommend it more! Worth every penny! So unique and better than any hotel you could find. Plus, the owner is wonderful! She called once we got there to answer any questions we had and good customer service goes a long way with me! I found Sinya after having a horrific customer service experience with another hotel in Wimberley and canceling our reservation with them. I am so thrilled we found Sinya! Just got back from our anniversary trip to Sinya. My husband and I love to vacation. We stayed in a luxury tent cabin in British Columbia, and were so impressed with the luxury and uniqueness of it. We agreed that it was the best place we've ever stayed...until Sinya. Who would believe that just an hour from our home, we'd find such a retreat. We stayed for 48 hours, and never left once. I had a massage on the balcony overlooking the hills and creek, my husband and I enjoyed the outdoor shower and japanese soaking tub. I relaxed in the hammock, and we enjoyed wonderful food (and a great breakfast provided by Lynn, the owner). Lynn's attention to detail and level of personal service really set Sinya apart. We have been telling everyone about it! It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We'll be back! The place is absolutely beautiful and the owner is so kind and gracious! My husband and I stayed there on our wedding night and we had such a fantastic time. The owner, Lynn, was able to make us feel at home by turning down the bed and turning on the lights for us to get in late. She even came the next morning with a beautiful breakfast and showed us how to use everything. She was made to be a hostess! She was so detailed and thought of everything. She had nice speakers to plug into to all kinds of phones for your own music. THere were multiple places to sit outside and the outdoor shower and tub were so fun! As I sit down to write this, I find myself wishing we were back at Sinya right now! It is impossible to describe in words how incredible this place is. I tried to book it almost a year ago for our anniversary, but it was completely booked during the weekends for several months. So instead, I booked it months in advance and impatiently waited. It was well worth the wait! There is nothing quite like falling asleep to the sound and feel of the outdoors while sleeping in 5 star accommodations. Or taking an afternoon nap on a hammock while birds are chirping around you. Or taking an outdoor shower underneath the stars and candlelight. If you are considering booking Sinya, do it! My wife and I were so excited to spend 3 nights here, but a last minute family emergency required us to cancel. My 77 year old,veteran father, has Alzheimer's and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance hours before we were supposed to check in. He required a hospital stay and then a transfer to a rehabilitation hospital. I explained the whole situation to the owner and her cold response was "she has a business and could not make an exception on refund policy." This place is booked for all but 8 days the rest of the year and she cannot make and exception? This owner is all about her bottom line and nothing else. Think hard before you book, because no matter what happens with 30 days, there is no refund! Buyer beware! read more

Sinya on Lone Man Creek was a life changer. My husband and I are avid travelers and have been fortunate to have seen many a beautiful site, but Sinya took our breath away with its elegance without pretention, luxuriousness without pomp, and beauty with quiet humility. We stayed for four nights and it felt like time either slowed down or stopped entirely and we spent many happy moments watching the wildlife, absorbing the clean air, soaking in the outdoor tub and marveling at the design and style of the safari tent. Sinya, its land, and its view are amazing in and of themselves and they make for an incredible experience, but I want to also acknowledge the service of the owner, as she elevated our stay entirely with her attention to detail, her commitment to the environment (all of the toiletries provided were non-toxic and our breakfast and juices were organic) and her warm and welcoming way. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 2-day stay at Sinya on Lone Man Creek, complements of our daughters and son-in-law. The Sinya "glamping" experience was great fun. The facility is an actual heavy-duty tent, built on a wooden plank base and supported by natural-shaped sections of tree. Lynn has it decorated in safari motif. There was a small microwave, toast oven, and micro-refrigerator with freezer. The setting is beautiful: on a limestone bluff high above Lone Man Creek. Lots of birds--particularly hummingbirds--graced the surrounding area. I even took a little time to do some fishing in the creek--caught nothing other than a few dozen chigger bites! We brought in new days and closed out days sitting on the veranda, which overlooks the creek and surrounding hillsides. Not being stuck with "routines," the mornings began with coffee on the veranda and ended with wine there. Amenities at Sinya include a 5-foot diameter hot tub, which was a galvanized circular tank to create the rustic safari feel. It is heated with a propane-fueled heater, so we would just check the temperature, fire up the boiler, and wait just 20-40 minutes to get it up to temperature. This was a favorite. In addition to a large deep claw-foot porcelain-lined tub with large shower head indoors, there was an outdoor shower, too. The latter was used often, both before and after hot-tub sessions. Very fun! Sinya is conveniently located, providing easy access to a number of events in the area. The Wimberley Zip Line Adventure was a real highlight for us both. A total of 10 lines, running as long as 900 feet. We also took part in an olive oil and wine tasting at Bella Vista Ranch, which produces both products. We spent a couple of hours at the Wimberley Market Days, which is hosted by the Lions Club on about 16 acres of land--we saw just a small portion of it before the heat exceeded our capacity! There is a excellent glass works outside of town. We were able to see and hear described (did this in Murano, Italy, but there the "hearing" part was limited!) how this art form is employed. Food in the Wimberley area was ample, varied, and almost all good. The Cypress Creek Café for lunch and the Milagros Mexican Restaurant for dinner were particularly good. The Wimberley Café is the go-to place for breakfast: took 1-1/2 hours to get seated, served, and billed! Marco's Italian was pretty good, too. read more

This secluded, gigantic tent with a huge bedroom/living area and a large bathroom with a clawfoot tub and a veranda and a back deck and a fire pit for S'mores - offers peace and quiet, privacy and seclusion for one couple at a time. Where else can you find a privacy-fence protected back deck with a hot-cold shower with "rain" head and a Japanese soaking tub?! AMAZING!!! Sinya features soft - must be a kagillion thread count - sheets, goose down pillows, and, a feather duvet. From the bed, there's a "circular theater" view of the Hill Country, which makes an amazing perch for watching the light gradually arrive each morning. Perch? Yes, it's sitting high above Lone Man Creek in the trees, a magnificent "tree tent", where couples frolic and play. This is an unlike-any-other B&B where memories are easily created. The optional yummy breakfast from 3 choices was delivered promptly at 9:00, but not until after we heard her ring an alert bell. High quality cooking microwave, convection_toaster oven, and induction cooktop and a superb Tassimo coffee maker mean you need not leave the premises. We had to pry ourselves away. Did not want to leave, and we hope to return. ... To keep it private, we did not receive the actual address until a few days before our reservation. read more
