For some people they may have gone a little overboard on the decoration though. The coffee shop's menu is fairly comprehensive, they serve a cracking cup of coffee, and the range of cakes is impressive. The owner is friendly and enthusiastic, and gave us some great recommendations of other places to visit on Anglesey. The gift shop at the front of the store is like a tourist gold mine, again very tightly packed with a whole plethora of goods. Cards, themed goods, items of clothing, childrens toys, jewellery and ornaments. Mostly of the highest quality, however, on the whole, a little pricey. Definitely targeted at the steady stream of tourists that are attracted to Moelfre though.

I have eaten here in the past, and it has always been average and today was no exception, it ranged from poor to average to tasty. I had a panini which was well over done and had almost no filling, my partner had a chicken kebab, quite tasty but was very small. The good bit is always the cakes and puddings, this time we went for a sponge cake and it was lovely. So next time I come I'll be sticking with cake and coffee. I'm not sure if it was expensive, I didn't pay, I'm sure it was.

The cafe doesn't offer any main meals, but it's the perfect place for a reasonably priced snack. They offer sandwiches, paninis, jackets, cakes and the like, and often have special offers such as a toasted tea cake with a drink for £1.50.

There are no real surprises in the stock, lots of batteries, DIY items, toiletries, food, drinks and so on and on the occasion I went lots of Halloween and Christmas stuff as well. Some decent bargains and some well known brands. It's worth a look and in a city with a large student population should do well.

They mostly stock 9 carat gold, but they do also have a few pieces in 18 carat gold or in silver. Sadly, they have little choice when it comes to picking out an item for a child, with only a few watches and a couple of silver Christening bangles. Despite this, their range is rather good for a small jeweller in a small city. I recently purchased a nurse's fob watch for my sister when she graduated as a nurse. It was competitively priced and the service in the store was good - they advised me that they did do engraving but that it would need to be sent away and would take a while, so I'd be better to use Timpson's (on the same street) for my engraving. I thought that was rather impressive customer service, especially as many businesses are quick at grabbing business for themselves. I would purchase from them again should I need to buy a piece of jewellery without the time to travel to a bigger city for a wider selection.

The Works in Caernarfon is a small, but well-stocked store. I don't think it would be accessible to wheelchair users. Having said that, the stock remains organised, with childrens' books located together, at the front of the store, and other categories such as craft items, fiction and non-fiction, are all located together in areas of the store. The Works has a good range of discounts, but I tend to find the books on offer in their stores aren't really my cup of tea. Their range of fiction titles are quite limited. The childrens' titles are brilliant, however, and they cater for all age ranges. They also stock a limited range of toys and games and a few dvd collections, which I assume cater to a range of interests and age groups.
