My friend had a bogo coupon and invited me to come with her. It was a really fun, laid back event but I did feel like at times we were just sitting watching paint dry because they apparently took away the dryers they used to have because people would be drying while the teacher was talking. The event was supposed to be 3:30-5:30 and we didn't get out of there until 6:15. I felt it was a little long but we definitely enjoyed painting the Santas. Just make sure you don't have set plans after.

Glaze was not mixed properly. There are globs of color while the rest is a sad gray.

So much fun! Great night for a group event or a date. The hosts are kind and patient (goodness are they patient). I have never done anything around molding or creating this type of art and it was a blast. Goes by quickly and even cooler is you can come back (if you're local), to choose colors and paint. A rip off. Don't waste your time and money. The artist/owner showed 1 time out of 6 pottery classes. Her minion is not instructor material. It was all very unorganized. You, the paying customer, are expected to mop her floors after each class. One 2 hour class was only 1 hour. Glazing and bisque firing not included as advertised. read more

Class was fun and the instructor was engaged but the glazing (that I waited for 10 weeks for) was awful. 95% of my pottery was a sad gray clay color with a few globs of yellow/gold glaze. read more

Great time! Instructor made sure you left with a great piece! We could bring in alcohol, snacks, and our own ideas that we would like to put on our portraits. The time flew by while you were painting. Great place for a date!! read more

They offer a variety of painting classes at different levels of difficulty. You also have the option to "upgrade" your painting by purchasing a bigger canvas or opting for a wooden version. Another thing I LOVE about this place is that they sell the paintings that the instructors do during every class! They are affordable and beautiful! My mother and I bought several. I would suggest stopping by Walmart (or ordering off Amazon) and getting a cheap variety pack of paintbrushes (I posted a photo of the pack I purchased). I found that the brushes they supplied were a little worn out and often I couldn't get my lines as thin as I wanted them (I have a heavy hand).

I've attended several events here over the years, from concerts, to movies to guest speakers. My high school graduation was held here back in 1997. There are usually snacks such as popcorn available for purchase and beverages. I don't remember other food being available. The staff is always pleasant and ready to assist. They seemed to have improved the sound system, which really made the musical experience better. I thoroughly enjoyed Orchestra Noir and can't wait to see them again next year. I will definitely go back.

The lobby is incredibly inviting--I even noticed someone relaxing at a table, coloring, which perfectly captured the laid-back, community feel of the space. Having a bar in the lobby was a nice touch too, making it easy to grab a drink before the movie.
