We had used another company in the past but after inquiring felt Party Host Helpers were more organized and straightforward. We hired them because we needed the service and were overwhelmed without the help. I received an automated email 2 days later saying our deposit was refunded but no apology or acknowledgement of how inconvenienced we were. I do not recommend risking it by hiring them. It doesn't seem like they are able to oversee or manage their staff properly.

Cindy and her staff arrived plenty of time before the event to setup tables and decor. Cindy did an amazing centerpiece (Mocha colored roses? inside a vintage birdcage!) which matched with the gorgeous table cloth color. She provided an awesome spread of food (veggie platter-came with asparagus!, cocktail shrimps, cheeses, crackers, **super yummy garlic flavored baguette**, pasta salad and much more). Staff did a great job refilling food as they were running low, which made it felt like we had unlimited about of shrimps :) And plenty of drinks to go around. Cindy was friendly and funny to talk to. I cannot say enough good things about the amazing job Cindy did in our special day! She was very easy to work with, punctual, thoughtful, and professional! The food was really wonderful. We got so many positive comments about the food which is rare for a wedding with 150 guests! Usually wedding food is bland and dry but all of the tenderloins and chicken were cooked perfectly! They did a great job dealing with any issues that came up through the evening such as guests who forgot what they ordered and so on! She brought a bar tending team as well who were tips certified and they were really on top of things throughout the night. They even managed to gauge the amount of alcohol needed to be put on ice which was nice since everything not iced at the end of the night we could return to our alcohol distributor for a refund! Cindy took care of so many little and big details and had a lot of great suggestions which made my DIY wedding so much less stressful such as ordering the glasses and dishes as well as renting ovens needed for the venue since my venue didn't have one! I was also so surprised the next morning when I went back to the venue to clean and found that Cindy ad her team even cleaned up a bunch of our decorations! The venue itself looked great and her team did a good job with furniture arrangements and place settings, everything looked amazing. Overall I would highly recommend catering to you for any event! While many companies have been more than understanding with clients and providing refunds at some agreed percentage, including wedding venues, it was unfortunate one of my girlfriends did not have experience that with private chef, Maureen. Instead of offering sympathy, Maureen instead declared the deposits were non-refundable (this was no where stated in the contracted) and since the notice was given less than 30 days, she was not obligated to refund at any measure (another policy that was no where stated in the contract or her website). While my friend continued to try and work with her, Maureen had went on to call her, "entitled", "close-minded" and "immature." I don't think it's immature to want to keep a group of people, including Maureen, safe from the virus. Telling us our only option is to reschedule within a 90 mile radius when we have no idea when this pandemic will end is not helpful. I've been in the hospitality industry for year and I've had a handful of clients actually yell in my face. In no situation would i EVER respond in such a such a way. I was speechless and incredibly disappointed. Many of us are faced in financial hardships but what I've always found to be true is you need to give in order to get. Would not recommend by any means.
