We purchased the alcohol ourselves for the event and Kevin did a great job in understanding our drink preferences and providing a shopping list for drinks, mixers, garnishes and ice for the event (we had 140+ people). The bartenders also were judicious about not opening bottles of alcohol throughout the night that were not needed, making returning unopened alcohol and wine the next day easy to save us money on our drink budget. We hired PR bartending at recommendation of our venue and reading positive reviews for a wedding in October of 2023. Interacted directly with Kevin in the wedding planning phase who was pleasant and helpful. Kevin allowed us to modify services offered, determine what would align with our projected budget, promptly provided us updated quotes, and provided a purchase order. Overall very easy to work with in planning phase. There was one small pre-wedding issue in which PR Bartending changed addresses and did not notify us, resulting in our final check payment to be delivered to the prior address. We only learned of the address change when Kevin reached out regarding the missing payment, but he did NOT charge us a late fee. On the day of the wedding, all bar related items were organized/set up as per our contract and discussions. During our cocktail hour our guests notified me that bartending was not serving draft beer. Our day of coordinator was not notified of this problem (as if standard for vendors). Our contract with PR bartending did specifically state that WE were responsible for ensuring the setup and proper function of the kegerator. I identified myself to Kevin and attempted to work to identify the problem. Kevin, seemingly frustrated did not provide a clear answer as to if the kegerator was working properly and what the specific problem was as to why beer was not being served. I assigned two individuals familiar with kegs/draft lines/carbonation systems to troubleshoot the issue, they were able to remedy the problem (CO2 regulator needed adjustment) but it took them considerable time as Kevin was reluctant to physically move and let the in the space near the kegerator. While this was during a busy point in cocktail hour and the space was small, clear communication and a degree of flexibility from PR Bartending would have allowed quicker resolution. Later on that evening approximately 1 hour prior to the pre-determined conclusion of bartending service I went up the bar to obtain a drink for myself and my bride. Kevin recognized me and before I could ask for a drink immediately stated "I'm x amount short" and asked how I was going to pay the remainder of the balance of the tip jar (as per contract). I left the bar area to find my checkbook to write the remaining balance but was intercepted by several guests. When I returned, 30 minutes later a family member informed me that he covered the remaining balance as a wedding gift as the bartending was asking for the bride or groom to rectify the balance on the tip jar. Other than the terse interactions, our guests reported good service and well-made drinks. I was pleased to hear that our guests had better interactions than we did however, I would expect more cordial interactions from a wedding vendor with the bride and/or groom.

Rentals, decorations, food - they handle it ALL so don't bother hiring an event coordinator - trust me, with these guys you don't need one. Budget: The people at Two Chefs really do work with your budget. In fact, they work harder than the typical caterer to be within your budget, whatever it may be. Alison understood me from the get-go and knew straight away what things could be done to lessen the numbers while still being completely honest with me. Actually, I think they ended up making it UNDER-my budget. Tasting: I ended up doing a tasting with Walter (one of the three head chefs) and he was phenomenal, staying with us to joke around and answer any questions we had. When we gave him our opinions on the food (the original chicken we had was a little dry and we weren't fond of the foccacia for a wedding setting), he didn't get upset. Instead, he pondered for a while and recommended a ton of other chicken dishes. That's what I call being a great chef. You don't take things personally, instead you aim to help your client as best you can. The meats at the tasting were all tender and juicy, the salad was extremely fresh (we had a choice of 3!) and the mashed potatoes were silky smooth and left you wanting more. Issues?: There was a slight problem with the linen numbers the day before the wedding and I started to get a panicky, but Steve (another head chef) stepped in and said that he'd take care of it. He even called me a second time to reassure me and tell me not to be worried about a thing. Again, amazing. Day of: Kathy (event coordinator) was a comforting presence at my side at all times to make sure I had everything I needed and to remind me of when I needed to do things. Steve (one of the 3 head chefs) was always there bringing me food so that I would be able to eat. Thank you Steve! What people said?: It was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. One friend said that normally the beef is either way undercooked or really dried out, but this was perfectly cooked beef and he had several helpings. And they were extremely efficient at clearing away plates, the place was spotless! More importantly, you're not a number to them - you become someone they want to get to know personally and to make happy - which is something you really can't pay for. Forget the big expensive caterers who end up costing you a fortune for food and service, Two Chefs works the service cost in so that you can see the final number and they work extra hard to make your wedding (or any event) perfect.

A big shout out to the wait staff and the bartenders, they were best. Overall a fantastic place experience at a wonderful place.

We have traveled all over and eat out quite a bit (too often), and this place has the best staff we have had the pleasure of dining with. We were greeted by Diane, and Patti was our server. Both were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Diane, the hostess, greeted us with the biggest smile and was so welcoming. She walked us to our seats and even offered to move our table so we could have the best view. We closed the place down, and we decided last minute to get a gift card for friends we knew would love the experience. She restarted the POS system to do this for us, even though it was late, she could have asked us to come back another day. Patti was so helpful with food and drink selections. She checked on us often but was not intrusive. Even the younger staff moving tables at the end of the night smiled a lot and made conversation with us. There was an acoustic guitarist playing in the background at just the perfect volume. It enhanced the experience. Some places we've been the music has been obnoxiously loud. You never are confused when you go to one of her events. You constantly receive emails daily to let you know where she is advertising and information on all the events. If you ever have any questions she quickly answers them within minutes. I'm also an Organizer for events and she has taught me so much. She has no problem trying to help others succeed. I love that about her the best. I added a new product to my business last week and she supported me through the whole thing making sure I had enough space to display it. At one of the shows I was at I even got a wedding consult that turned into my being the Florist for the wedding. Every single one of her shows I have always left minimum 5 x's my table fee. She really is amazing! I can't thank her enough for all she does!
