Turns out its an amazing town, historic and quaint meets college town energy. This club rivals most of the best venues in Philadelphia! 3 levels with a different vibe on each. Modern EDM/pop hits, 90s classics, and live piano/vocals on each different level the day I was there. Met some super friendly students and made friends. Drinks are cheap, coat check is cheap, atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun and energetic night out.

As in after being in there for 3 minutes me and friends decide to leave as we couldn't cope with the volume and its not like our ears aren't used to it. You gotta love the age of Lincoln, this building is lovely and like them all is very old. For all of my British mates reading this, yes I know old news!! haha but for us Americans this building is only 11 years younger than our country. It was early in the day so there weren't very many people there. I was met with politeness, open to sit wherever and to take my time. I setup my laptop and had a beer. I thought I would have something to eat and was so amazingly surprised that they had vegan options here! It definitely gave me hope that this was going to be a great trip. The food was great, the beer was great and the service was amazing! It was a great start to my trip to Lincoln, thank you Horse & Groom.

It stands in the shadow of the castles Cobb Tower on top of which public hangings were done..eg strugglers. This pub also seems to be haunted by the Black Dog seen elsewhere. The hungry phantom hound reported to haunt the castle walls would sometimes try to enter this inn, scratching and barking at the door.

This is an old, attractive medieval building on the river, just behind the Green Dragon…read more Unfortunately inside it is a bit run down and dilapidated. In the day it seems to attract families with young children and in the evening older clientelle, probably locals. An old magician called Wally Sleight wanders about in here in the day trying to get customers to buy him a pint in exchange for a trick. Unfortunately there are never any seats out of the riverside but I think (not sure) they have a small garden. Anyway this is another for the ghost guide: Not very exciting I am afraid. The pumps have been known to activate themselves, and ice is thrown around by an invisible hand. Interesting that the Green Dragon, almost next door, has pumps that switch off. Maybe it is the same ghost playing tricks or prefers the beer at the Witch to the Dragon.
