I…read morehad an 8am appointment and there was no one in the waiting room so I was immediately greeted. They gave me some forms to fill out and as soon as I was done and gave them back they brought me back to do vitals and put me in a room. I met the doctor and the nurse practitioner and they were both very nice and professional. Dr. Dang answered all my questions and made me feel content when leaving. After the visit is when they took me to do the labs. They give you the option to pay $15 and have the labs done in office or you can go to an outside lab. I had mine done in the office for convenience. The staff were all super nice. I definitely recommend this office. They have appointment slots from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

This practice is notable compared to others in South Florida due to their appointment availability, very reasonable wait times, and friendly staff. My experience with Tanisha, Medical Assistant, specifically led me to writing this review. I had an appointment for bloodwork, and she did a flawless job. She was extremely patient with me and gave me all the tips to make the bloodwork go as smooth as possible, as I have a needle phobia. I've also seen Julia Staddon, who is a trusted, knowledgeable Physician Associate. She has good bedside manners, patient when listening to your concerns, and offers clear patient education.

You can't even leave a mssg. I was standing at the counter watching the gal do it. When I got home I found a note on my visit sheet I needed to call in and give them an answer in meds. I spent three tries being returned to main menu. Then I knew what the gal was going when she kept hitting the button and not answering. I have not been able to contact them. They may have sent an email, but I didn't get it. In at least 10 years, they have never sent me an email. They may have the wrong email or it may be in the spam folder, but having closed out a doctor's office when he died, you are supposed to send a letter not an email. In 10 years, I had never seen a doctor until Dr. Padke was out on staff and she only treated endocrine problems. Because of Dade and Broward county laws, I have a vial of insulin and no needles because they cannot be dispensed without a prescription and AFP is not renewing diabetic prescriptions. A prescription for syringes was not sent with the insulin prescription. Any doctor I may have passed in the hallway, is gone. I agreed to see a new nurses aide in August but I doubt if I will. By August I will be gone if I wait for them to do anything. I was in the hospital with COVID last week. I was told to follow up with them. The hospital assigned me a transition specialist. She is, two weeks later, still trying to contact AFP. If you've got the time, feel well enough and the energy to go to their office, sit there and refuse to move, you might get some care. The odds are you will be sent to the ER because they couldn't even treat my dehydration 4 years ago and I had to drive to the ER for fluids. You might get a good referral. I don't know who runs or owns the place but isn't any of the advertised people because they all left this year. Perhaps they will enlighten us but I wouldn't bet on it. Have fun. I'm not.

I've gone to this practice since 2010. All my providers there have been nothing but amazing. I…read morewrote a previous yelp review and gave the practice five stars. However, they have been under new management for a couple of months. All the previous providers have left the practice. I was never notified that my provider left the practice. In fact, photographs of my former provider and others are still on the webpage, so how was I to know they left? I never received a phone call or a letter in the mail. I found out about this recently when my insurance request requested a prior authorization. I went to their new website, and my provider wasn't listed. So I called to ask about this. The first time I called and the phone rang forever with no one picking up the phone. When I was finally able to get through, a young lady answered the phone. I told her about my situation with the prior authorization and she told me that my provider was no longer there. I was told that I had to come in and see a new provider and when I asked why , I was told have a nice day and then hung up on. I wasn't rude; I just had questions, like who my new provider is and why they need me to come in, since I just had an exam two months earlier. And I don't know why, but they called me back 10 minutes later and said they suddenly had an appointment for me the next morning. So I came in to see what was going on. My new provider was very young and I'm not sure how much experience they had. While they were nice, she informed me of the new policies. For example, they began charging for blood draws in the office that had previously been free. It was $35, and now it's down to $15; otherwise, I have to go to another location to have my blood drawn. They put an order for me to have my blood work drawn, even though I just had it drawn 6 to 8 weeks. I asked for a prior authorization which I was told they would do, but after two weeks, I went to my pharmacy and they said they never received one. The front desk used to be helpful, but recently when I went in, everybody was sitting around in a circle talking to each other, pretty much ignoring that I was there. This used to be a very warm, friendly practice that put the patient's needs first. Now, it seems this new management is very business-oriented, looking for ways to make more money at the expense of providing good customer service and focusing on my healthcare needs. I am now leaving this practice, which makes me sad. I feel very sorry for older people who go there. They probably don't know who their provider is anymore and will have to start over with a new provider from the beginning. It's hard to find a good medical practice for your routine healthcare these days, especially in Boca Raton, where everybody is moving towards concierge service. I wouldn't be surprised if this place goes out of business in the next year.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality experience. Crystal and Maya were stupendous.
