I lucked up the last time I visited and found my braiding hair marked down significantly! I picked up double what I actually needed. If you're like me you keep a stash of hair in case of an emergency. They even sell beauty products & jewelry (costume). I've purchased Ardell & KISS lashes from here before and of course my go to NYX lipgloss. Overall I'm always pleased when visiting although their hours seem to not be very consistent. I passed by staff and one walked past me. One staff member was low key staring when we exited the store. Idk, we didn't feel welcomed, didn't wanna shop there. Went around the corner and found a similar shop with much better service! Some will say it's ridiculous to not want to shop because we're not being greeted, however, being acknowledged feels like the minimum. Say shoplifting is an issue since it's right off the street, in my years of retail we were advised to give extra service to those we suspect - ask open ended questions, offer a basket, make small conversation and help them at the register. If you were wrong, the customer got good service and will recommend to others. If you were right, you detered theft. Seems simple enough! The store is big with quite a few selection, but if you miss this one, there's def more that have the same items.

After looking at the prices, I feel like a little customer service could go a long way. The store is cluttered but they do have a lot of nice brands. Their sales rack is also great! I loved all the jelly cats around the store. It's nice to be able to find these locally. The inventory is the best part, obviously. They have soo much to offer. I called and spoke with the owner to see if they did passion twists and how much it would be. She asked me the length I wanted, and I told her 22 inches long. She then quoted me a price of $180. I texted her back to find out what type of hair I would need she did not respond until 2 days before my appointment. I could not get the hair by then, so I got the type of hair from a different maker. I will get to the point. The first issue was that she complained that the hair was difficult to use, but she started doing my hair anyway until another braider arrived. She then let the new braider continue where she left off. She asked me about the length after two rolls of twisting it short and big. I told her I asked for them to be 22 inches long and she started making them longer. The new braider was very rough on my head, and I am not sensitive to getting my hair done. The new braider also complained about the hair. When she finally finished my hair, I had kinky twists and bald edges that I did not see until I pulled my hair up into a ponytail on my cruise for my birthday. Also, when I paid her the $180, she looked offended, but I explained that was the price I was quoted. She turned to the owner who told me that because I had gotten a longer length it would be $20 more. I was upset but I paid the money and left. Had I known that the braider had pop my edges off I would not have paid the extra money because she never informed me of what happened. I would not return and I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone because these people are obviously only out to make money and do not care about being unethical in their business practices. Oh and my braids started coming out within the week of me getting my hair done. I will post some pictures!
