They take into consideration your children's' dietary needs, religious practices and do their best accommodate parents overall. Andrea is the current director and is doing a great job with her leadership! One of the best educators works here as well; Patricia has a way with kiddos like I've never seen. Oh! It's situated on Indy's canal so the views inside of the infant room are so pretty and the bigger littles take walks/rides on the canal on a normal basis. Their recently renovated playground is perfectly tailored as well. Parking is on West St. & can get pretty congested but for safety reasons, this is the way it has to be. All in all, this childcare center has my trust & I'd recommend it time & time again.

When we walk in the door every morning, the positive energy is just exploding and the welcome from each and every employee is the best way to start our day. My son loves the teachers and thoroughly enjoys this facility. We toured several daycares when we were pregnant and found only two that we would even consider sending our child. I love that there are no screens for the kids, they have dedicated outdoor time everyday when the weather is nice, and there are cameras in the rooms for parents to peak in on their kids during the day. I never feel like we need the camera to make sure he's being treated correctly, but being able to see him playing and interacting with the other kids brings a lot of joy. The teachers send a daily report and there are nearly always photos. I'm so thankful we found such a wonderful place to provide childcare.

I am able to nurse my LO during breaks and in the morning at the facilities. They also take my breast milk during the day so that my LO can continue with mommies milk. This daycare is HUGE on education and that is what eventually sold us. Ms. Pam (owner) is wonderful and is passionate about taking care of the kids! This daycare is a Level four on The FSSA Paths to Quality. Our son just graduated from the STEM Pre-K program at CYC this past year. We were never less than…read morepleased with the quality of his care. His lead and assistant teachers were consistent throughout the year (no constant turnover and drama like we experienced at his previous center). The classrooms were spacious and well-equipped, and also serves as an instructional center for IUPUI students studying early education. We especially liked the STEM program as the class progressed through multi-week thematic units based on the children's current interests (e.g. simple machines, dinosaurs, castles, camping). Students use a blend of technology and tactile materials and toys, and our son was even able to read and comprehend short stories before leaving for kindergarten. There are a number of ways for parents to get involved as the classrooms go on numerous field trips and the center hosts family events and open houses. Class updates and pictures are provided via the Tadpoles app throughout the week. Parent conferences are held twice a year. The center is professionally managed by IUPUI and a friendly, new, hands-on director was just hired in spring of 2019. We would recommend the center to anyone working, studying, or living in the downtown area.
