Approaching we nearly turned around. Slightly out of the main shopping area this place looked like a dodgy local boozer with hanging baskets. Getting closer I spotted the dazzling lights of a disco ball and I knew we were in the right place. This place is awesome. Pool table, check. Clean, check. Good selection of booze, including a non-alcoholic beer for the Mrs, check. Cheesey tunes, check. Fabulous and friendly staff, check. Lesbians, check. I have to especially say to the guy behind the bar when we went who was an utter delight. Letting us know the places to go an be seen. Even remembering my order. Toto, we're not in London anymore.

With their award winning team of bar tenders they make a wide range of cocktails, so whether you're a fuzzy naval kind of person, or someone who prefers a classic Old Fashioned, they can sort you out. Over the year they've also added more theme and event evenings, adding great music to the night too. Friday and Saturday nights are usually pretty packed so make sure you get there early to get in. There is always a great atmosphere at the bar and we've always had a great time. Even if it's your first time Pete, Tom and Luke and the rest will all make you feel welcome. You only need to go a few times and they'll soon know your name and your favourite tipple. Whether you want to go out for a party night or even just a few drinks early on, Nyne's really is the best place to go to in the area.

The Kingpin Suite provides exactly that and I had such a great night here. I hired the venue for a work event so we had sole use for the evening but on most nights it is open to the public (you will need to book ahead). The food was great and very American style with mini burgers, hot dogs, pizzas and canapes. The bowling lanes are great fun and the karaoke room is sound proof meaning that it does not disturb the live music in the main room. The karaoke system is also of a high quality and has the largest collection of songs I have ever seen! There is also a hot tub which seems like a bit of an unusual addition - I didn't try that one out! The bar staff are friendly and at around £3.50 for a glass of wine the prices are reasonable. The venue is actually very difficult to find however as is also located in the same building as the Bloomsbury Lanes so it can get quite confusing when trying to locate the place. Kelly dealt with my booking and was fantastic - she made the day run as smoothly as possible and everyone had a great time. This would make a great venue for a Christmas Party.
