I visited today with a Gold Season Pass and had a great overall experience. The only downside was the number of bees around, but it didn't take away too much from the day. I arrived between 1 and 2 in the afternoon and started with Batman, which is a very fun coaster. The restraints felt extremely comfortable and secure. It can leave you a little dizzy, but it is definitely worth riding. After walking around for a bit, I made my way to Wicked Cyclone. The lines were very long, but if you come to the park often, you know which rides are worth the wait. I spent about two hours in line, and it ended up being my favorite ride of the day. Afterwards, I grabbed some ice cream near the Starbucks at the entrance. It was decent, though a bit pricey. Two cups came out to about twenty five dollars even with the season pass discount. Next, I headed to Gotham City Gauntlet and then Supergirl Sky Flyer, both of which had very short lines. After that, I rode Scream, which only had about a twenty minute wait and is another one of my favorites. I then went back toward the Batman area to ride Riddler Revenge. It does jolt your head around a bit, but it was not too bad, and the wait time was reasonable. To finish the day, I tried the new coaster Quantum Accelerator. It may not look very intense, but for a family coaster it is surprisingly good. It is very fast, has some nice airtime, and features sharp yet smooth turns that make it feel unique. Unfortunately, Superman was closed during my visit. Overall, I have been coming to this park every summer, and it remains one of the best out there, especially if you enjoy classic coasters. read more

This was, without a doubt, the grossest display of degeneracy I've ever seen at the volume it was. I'm not sure if it was free heroin day, but I can say this: you had one gross human after another. And when I say gross, I mean absolutely disgusting. The staff is awful, and even if they weren't, I'm not sure it would help all that much. Here are a few of the more notable things. We had a table picked out--you know, all our stuff spread out on the table, clearly taken. When we got back after getting our lunch, there was a guy sitting on the table--not at the table, on the table--like he was oblivious to how society works. When I took my son to the bathroom, there was a middle-aged man, butt naked, just standing against the wall scrolling on his phone. God only knows what he was up to. Then I got back to our lunch table, and there was another group sitting at our table until I kicked them out. My wife asked if I could get her a Coke, so my son and I went to Cowabunga Burger. I ordered two milkshakes and a Coke. This was a fountain soda. My milkshakes came with lids and straws, but they handed me the Coke with no lid or straw. So I asked, "Can I get a lid and a straw?" The girl at the register asked to see my receipt and said, "No, straws are just for milkshakes, and soda doesn't get a straw or lid." At first I thought they were joking, but they were not. While this was happening, a little girl, maybe two years old, fell and hit her head really hard. The entire crowd skipped a breath, but do you think this degenerate dad did anything to help her? No. He picked her up and just told her, "You're okay." God forbid he give up his spot in line to attend to her. He was right out of central casting for this kind of person: sloppy, gross, uneducated creation. I want every decent person with a family to know this warning: do not--and I'm not exaggerating--do not even consider going here. It's without question the lowest collection of people all in one place. LOL... on the way out, Agawam police were walking a large group of people out. The police don't stand a chance in this crowd. They could have walked 200 people out, and it would just be the tip of the iceberg. I swear I'm not exaggerating. The fun didn't stop there because, after I exited, I saw a woman trying to scale a fence to get in. read more

We wanted to go here on a Saturday night as soon as we got there, but our baggage was lost and when we finally got our hotel I was tired and would only have less than an hour to have fun. I decided to wait for the next day. The weather itself was cold and raining on some of the days. If this happens be prepared for reduced hours as they closed from 12pm to 6pm. However, I got a taste for the park. I did not ride most of the rides as half of them were opened. Here are the rides I rode with my quick opinon 1. Super the ride - must do 2. Wicked Cyclone - must do 3. Houdini's Great Escape - an interesting ride that is indoor. Theming is pretty cool 4. Train kiddy ride - fun 5. Dinosaur Adventure - cars were awesome to ride. I wish they had two people running the ride instead of one 6. Sky Screamer - you go up really high to see the park. There are bugs however 7. Thunderbolt - wooden coaster not too bad 8. Riddlers Revenge - SLC with new restraints, I can pass on this one 9. Carousel There were other rides that were opened, but did not ride them as we had these at our home park in Texas like the Joker 4D coaster, Supergirl Sky Flyer, and Harley Quinn. Rides I wanted to ride, but were closed were Batman, Cat women's whip and Gotham City. These were rides I would have liked to ride, but ended up being closed due to the weather. The only issues we did have was our food passes did not work in this park, so they took down our number and gave us our meal. Our drink pass did not work too. Food wise we ate at Riverboat Cafe and Yamas! and go the fried chicken sandwich, the gyros and had a root beer float and funnel fries. We did not get a chance to eat at JB's, but it looks the old menu from Six Flags over Texas. The layout is simple, but there are spots you can miss like Houdini Great escape and the train. But you can get to one side of the park in 10 minutes if walking quite. The park itself is mid size. I would rank this park in the middle as this is not the worst Six Flags or not the best one, but I had a lot of fun here. read more

I went here with my family today. I completely understand six flags is not responsible for stolen bags up to a certain extent. However, we went through security handed my bag to go through the scanner, grabbed my other bag and went through. I only got one of my bags back after going through. You should have confidence that if your bag goes the scanner and handed to a security team member, you should be the one to get it back. Its not the case with six flag security. It took them hours to pull the cameras and refused to show it to us. It has been handled awfully. They do not care. I had my car keys in the bag and was forced to get a locksmith. They have done nothing and it's upsetting how little they are willing to help. read more

Alright. Went back here again. Paid $35 for a "bring a friend" ticket plus $9.99 in "fees" to get said ticket. The Joker was closed all day. Superman was closed for a HUGE part of the day (after my kids waited in line for over an hour and were told to leave due to a breakdown). It reopened at the end of the day. Batman was closed for almost the entire day. Cyborg closed due to an issue, after my kids waited in line for ages. It did reopen eventually. Supergirl was closed, then opened shortly after we left. Not sure about other rides but for heck's sake... We had 2 groups of kids with us that we took to the park. They explored the park separately and BOTH groups only managed to get on FIVE rides each. Five. Five rides each. Let's put that in perspective. The lines were obscenely long, much in part because there were so many thrill rides down! We pay the full price regardless of how many rides are down or go down. And no, I don't want to ride something that is malfunctioning but I have NEVER been to a park that has had so many attractions malfunction on a given day. Never. And we've been all over the country (including other Six Flags locations). Food is insanely expensive, but I can live with that if I can actually ride some rides during our visit. FIVE RIDES EACH for an entire day in the park. Please don't waste your money. I have massive regrets. I took the day off from work, I took my kids out of school for a "family fun day" - I drove 3 hours round trip... FOR FIVE RIDES. Don't bother. Save your money. I remember Six Flags being expensive growing up, but surprisingly, it was the cheaper option. My friend and I were planning on going to Canobie Lake, but seeing that for a couple dollars less we could come to Six Flags, we decided on here instead. They have a special right now of about $35 + $11 (for water park) on weekday, and this includes parking in the general area. They do have a shuttle that brings you up the walkway, but honestly the walk isn't bad if you don't have too much stuff - depending on how many people are waiting, its even faster to walk. We got there right when it opened and surprisingly the checking in process was not chaotic at all. It was orderly and fast. Since it was a hot day, we decided to do the water park first. There was a long line to enter since you need to scan a ticket, but it only took about 10-15 minutes. They do have lockers, but we only had a bag each so we stuck them under a chair and they were fine. We obviously had to do the wave pool and lazy river, but also a few water slides. Out of the slides, I personally loved cannonball falls the most (not the one that goes straight down but the side ones). The slides are enclosed, and at one point you just gain so much speed. Since you're not on a tube, it is definitely the one with the most thrill. The one that goes straight down is cool, but it hurts your back. The one that we waited in line the most for and were disappointed is the Swiss Family Toboggan. It is nice to not have to carry up your own tube, but only one side was operating and they had about 6 tubes in rotation so we waited for about an hour or a little less and there wasn't much thrill to it. The lazy river is a must, but they do only allow you to go around once before having to give up your tube and wait in line again. You can rent a tube to use on some rides and the lazy river for about $13 but it wasn't worth it to me. After the water park we left the park to go have lunch at our car, then came back to do the roller coasters. This was my friend's first time here and the big rides did intimidate her, but after convincing her to go on Superman, she was all about them. We ended up going on Superman, Batman, wicked cyclone, sky screamer, thunderbolt, blizzard river. Our top favorites in order were wicked cyclone, thunderbolt, batman, and superman. The wicked cyclone has insane thrill and is just so fun. The blizzard river was fun and relaxing but it sort of smells funny. I was never really a big fan of six flags since all I remember growing up is there being so many people but Six Flags on a weekday is a game changer. read more

I bought 2 season passes in May. 4 days after I bought the season passes my wife found out she was pregnant. Six flags would not refund us our money for the passes even though we would never be able to use them. The entire reason we bought the passes was to go on the roll coasters, which would now not be possible. Nothing else there is worth doing, so money wasted. Came here yesterday after driving 3 hours, so and excited because I hadn't been in over a decade. First off, the parking was $35, handicapped or not, and they don't have many parking spots for handicapped. They have a cart that will bring you to the front gate from the parking lot, but it wasn't running fast enough last night so most people chose to walk. (Before and after the park visit we walked) We bought the bundle online and the guest relations lady told us to go to flash pass booth to pick up our passes,then we get to booth and David tells us there's no flash pass on the account. I showed him what we purchased and he agreed it was the bundle and should be there, then Emaley came out and tried calling guest relations multiple times but they wouldn't answer. We didn't wanna waste more time in line at guest relations AGAIN, then back in line at flash pass again so we sucked it up and ate the loss. Had they not wanted $85/pp for the MIDDLE TIER pass I would've got it, but the bundle we were shown and purchased already included fast passes to both haunted houses and park so confused for sure. Then we go to the haunted house booth to get our bands and she said I needed to purchase one, so I spent $35 just for them to realize the admission was purchased already for both. Chris who works at the green coaster (light skin with curly hair pulled into low ponytail) is extremely rude and unprofessional. If he doesn't want to work he shouldn't be doing a job that may require some reassurance of safety. Scott or maybe "sky" who works at the 3d circus is sadly openly racist and tried to make a mockery of me and my friends, but instead of engaging in his loud antics I left the line. (We were given a skip the line pass from Emaley as a sorry and weren't told there were any stipulations. So we attempted to use it at the fright fest 3d circus and when we presented the coupon given to us he laughed and rudely told us he's been here 6 years and everyone knows) As I stated I hadn't been here in over a decade and was simply trying to redeem my skip the line pass as my asthma was starting to act up from the cold and walking, we felt it was the best time to use it. Had I known there was stipulations outside of not being in used hurricane harbor, I would've acted accordingly. Everything here is overpriced and underwhelming, not to mention 2 of the rides we came to ride specifically weren't operating. Disappointing to say the least,spent most of our times waiting at flash pass and guest relations, then lines we thought we paid to avoid with the bundle. read more

Came down for fright fest (well honestly the awesome exclusive sweatshirt options for the event). 30 bucks to park and then off to find a spot. Handicap parking really needs to be expanded here in the main parking lot. There is a shuttle that will ride you to the front but if you don't want to wait you can walk it (about 5-10 mins). I absolutely hate the fast pass option here - it's not like some others where you pay a price and get to go into the fast lines. It's like the Genie plus option with Disney. This doesn't work very well when you're coming into the park later into the day and most things are booked up. You do have the option of buying one off passes like Genie but that's a waste and not cost friendly. The food lines were absolutely way too long but they don't have a full staff at the end of the season. Overall fright fest was good. I don't do Halloween but hubs does and he got a kick out of me running from the actors. read more

I visited on May 31st 2026. And I saw many issues. I expected it to be a little expensive considering it's an amusement park but really? Almost 20 dollars for a chicken tender meal? And I had a whole family with me, that's 120 dollars down the drain. There also needs to be stricter enforcement on little kids going to Six Flags unsupervised. Everywhere you turn there's a kid running which is unsafe. Security will see them running and just ignore it. It's one of the parks main rules not to run and how is there law enforcement present at the park and their rules aren't even being enforced? it makes no sense to me. The children also have foul language, and are disrespectful to authority. I have seen kids be disrespectful towards workers who are just simply trying to do their jobs. The staff seem mean and unapproachable as well. I asked the employees for directions to the new ride and the few I asked didn't even know themselves. I can't blame this entirely on the staff because their knowledge on their job is a reflection of the management and their lack of training their employees. In the candy store near the teacups ride, I saw a male employee talking to the woman that was working very rudely, I saw the whole thing. I thought they were working in the same shop and just got into a little dispute, but the man walked out and went back to his shop he was working at, which is very unprofessional. She looked visibly upset after, which made me decide that I had enough for the day, got the rest of my stuff, and left the park. Why would you go somewhere you aren't assigned just to try and talk to them, no matter if you're being rude to them or not? This is your place of work, not your free time. To whoever it may concern, please try to guide staff to be more respectful to everyone. Six flags is supposed to be a happy place, but with the sour attitude of workers, overpriced food items, security not enforcing park rules and regulations, and the issue with kids roaming around the park unsupervised, I hope you can take my words into consideration. read more

Fright Fest Review...A frequent traveler to the massive (and crowded) Sig Flags NJ, this was our first visit to their New England location...on to some rookie observations / tips from my perspective: - If you want to save some money and also have a potentially shorter walk, park at one of the adjacent businesses and pay whatever their day rate is (usually $5-10). Because of the layout of the park, the official six flags parking lot is across the street from the main entrance so you may actually get a closer spot to the park (and save some $$) by NOT parking in their lot. - Their three best steel coasters are Superman (formally Bizarro, and before that...yes, Superman), Batman Dark Knight, and Mind Eraser, and all three are right next to each other. Go there first. Wicked Cyclone is an absolute beast and worth riding, but it's a bit more isolated than the others. - Lines for a sunny Saturday in September were remarkably short. Our longest wait was about an hour for a nighttime ride on Superman, with many of the coaster lines taking only 10-20 minutes throughout the rest of the day. - With the young kids in tow, and going on all the rides, we didn't pay extra for the Fright Fest passes. The park was nicely decorated for Fright Fest, with costumed staff creeping out plenty of unsuspecting visitors, staying professional and in character. They were passing around orange pamphlets highlighting all the Fright Fest-specific entertainment with categories (including kid-friendly) for all ages. Bonus points! - The ride ops here are really slow in the loading/unloading of passengers, and a few coasters were running with only one train when they could have easily been running two. - Of course pretty much all the food options are overpriced, but for dessert, a surprising diamond in the rough is Cold Stone creamery! - Perhaps a by-product of purchasing this park from a family-owned business, but Six Flags New England is not designed for the size of the crowd they're trying to get. Sidewalks are narrow, signage is hit or miss, and a lot of "backstage" areas are (and shouldn't be) in plain sight. All in all, we got our fix here, and I'm glad we came at this time of year. While there's nothing really magical about this park, it's a great experience, and worth a day if you're traveling through the area. read more

Look at the menu! Six flags is an alright theme park; the rides are made for a small demographic though. Most rides are thrills. Lots of the rides rattle your head, and i personally had a headache after Superman and Harley Quinn specifically. The food on the other hand is a 1 star experience. 1) it doesn't even taste very good, 2) it's so unhealthy and 3) it's expensive. The French fries are 800-900 calories and a cheeseburger is upwards of 1200! The healthiest option is the Mexican restaurant which I unfortunately didn't find until after I ate. Most food there is reasonably healthy. Gotta get healthier options. Is it that hard to get at least some sort of entree under 1000 calories? In regard to parking it's crazy pricey. You are way better off parking at a house across the street. read more

We came for Fright Fest and even though I was terrified in the haunted houses, I had an amazing time on the roller coasters! The Wicked Cyclone was my favorite ride but Superman was a close second. We can't wait to come back and we figured that buying an annual pass which includes the parking fee is a great value even if we only go back one more time. We didn't have any food while in the park but the pricing looked OK by amusement park standards. Next time I probably won't bring a bag since the locker situation isn't the easiest (the ones next to the ride have a 2 hour limit and the one at the front of the park which is all day is a bit out of the way). read more

I just visited Six Flags New England today, May 26, 2025, with the fam. It was quite crowded especially for memorial day weekend. I actually needed to park in "lot 3" which is one of the overflow lots. We started the day off with a ride on Superman. Ops were not super and the ride shut down while in line for about 20 minutes. There were also several obvious line cutters, not a great look and quite frustrating. I will say, something more should be done about the line cutting. It was pretty bad. I was going to scan the qr code and repot a group of people who cut but by the time I got to the code the group already left during Superman's downtime and I was almost ready to board. Once the ride was up and running again we had a great time on it. The ride was running super well, decently fast and I was not stapled. We spent a lot of time walking around the park just taking in the ambience and people watching. I went to the water park to relax in the sand and ride cannonball falls. We hung out there for a while. The newly painted slides are looking fantastic. I think a small touch like this goes a very long way to add value to a visit. We left the waterpark and continued our stroll. I was going to ride Batman but the line was over and hour wrapping around in the cutbacks in the "shadiest part of the park"... seriously though this line is very well shaded, unlike the rest of the park :D. I noticed some buildings were repainted and the restaurant on mainstreet was refurbished. They did a nice job with it. There is an updated menu with those cedar fair famous hand breaded chicken tenders! They still have a temporary queue line stantion set up rather than permanent railings. I unfortunately did not get to ride Wicked Cyclone, but I saw Quantum Accelerator testing and got to ride Scream. Scream is actually a really great drop tower. I honestly don't ride it much but I'm glad I did today. All and all I had an enjoyable visit. The unexpected highlight of the day was actually the great tram driver, Larry, getting us through the parking lot. He was very excited, cracking tasteful jokes, welcomed us to the park, and did a fun chant. I'm excited to visit again to ride QA and I'm excited to see what the new Six Flags does with the park. The fall is a great time to go to Six Flags. There are fewer bees, shorter wait times for rides, and it is not 100 degrees. Late September and through October are a lot of themed events like Oktoberfest and Frightfest, which made the day even more fun. If you're looking for the best, only moderately overpriced food in the park, head to the Oktoberfest section for some sausages and soft pretzels. All of the staff we interacted with across the park were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a very fun day but we also knew we would be paying more than we'd like for it. read more

If I could give it a zero, I would. 90% of rides are shut down because of "weather" but it's not even raining- it's just plain sunny.... The rides that are operating only take half of the full capacity (see image below). Everything is out of service, from rides to arcade games to the middle of certain rides... WHY IS THIS PLACE EVEN OPEN? They charge you $43 for parking, charge you full price to get in EVEN IF NOTHING WORKS and basically only let people who pay extra money skip the whole line. Don't even bother coming if you don't have the VIP pass. Everyone will have a VIP pass and just wait just as long because they're charging you extra to get "benefits" Don't waste your time and money. My girlfriend and I were having such a great time until we went on the thunder bolt roller coaster where this worker named "Ash" told us we couldn't choose our seat. She told us we had to sit in the back mind you there was no line and other coasters controllers didn't give us an issue for choosing a seat. I expressed to her that i didn't want to sit in the back and told her i would rather just leave and she said " Be My Guest" so i went ahead and left, never returning again. I really like the place I don't like some of the workers and how they don't really act like they want to be there. I went to fright fest and actually got hit with the chainsaw from one of the scare actors told them they hit me and they just walked on by. I waited in line for 2 and 1/2 hours I finally got to the front and the line attendant just kept letting everyone else go ahead of us three times the fast passline filled up and she just let them go without checking their tickets. Despite being aware that we live on the West Coast and that he was a teen in a new city claimed that there was nothing he could do but wait for it to be sent to lost and found and for a trip to be made again to retrieve it. Poor customer service, poor judgement putting my son in a position for no way to communicate with me and at risk for getting lost/ hurt. Six flags is great deal for a season pass holder to enjoy the park throughout the year. After a full year of multiple visit I can say it's worth every dime. Esp. If you live close to one. The sky swing and hurricane deck are this parks main attraction, that distinguishes it from other six flags around the country. In the summer the park of open almost every day and we went there almost twice a week sometimes to just get a quick snack and most other times for the thrill of the rides. Their shows are seasonal and appropriate for all age groups. Kids love it! If you dare to enter their fright fest event open weekends only is a fun filled family-friendly attractions during the day...and thrills once the sun goes down. Holiday in the Park Lights! Tis the season for dazzling lights, delicious snacks, and holiday cheer! You can drive through M-F and walk through S-S. My fav was the fire pit where you can gather around with family and cook s'mores. read more
