I bought a 60.00 grab bag intended to be a Christmas present for myself for the first and ONLY…read moreTIME. I was NOT told that any item in there was unable to be returned or exchanged for equal value if I didn't like it. Had I been told, I would have gotten a cheaper one or not at all cause 60 for a mystery bag is a BIG gamble. I got home and put it under the tree fully intending for this to be a Christmas present.The next day after work my son wanted to open a present early. It's Christmas Eve and he had been good so I agreed and that's when I decided I wanted to open the grab bag early. I opened it and discovered it really fucking sucked... and for 60 bucks.. There was a mini less than half filled green candle, 2 packs of wraps both unscented and unflavored from a brand I have never heard with a rapper on the front. A waaaaay to big glass pipe with a slight CRACK in it next to the mouth piece. Lastly a Mint flavored Mike Tyson branded Delta 8 vape with a sticker that said 39.99 on it. The only thing that I was told in store was that the bag was supposed to contain "something to smoke, something to smoke with, something to munch on and an extra goodie. It is supposed to add up to more than the bag is worth." This was told to me by a shorter older lady with light hair at about shoulder length. I called up the store the same day which was a pain in the ass cause the number that shows on the site is (636) 725-1107 and it DID NOT WORK. It says that "the subscriber you called cannot be reached." So I used the (888) 315-5767 pressing number 3 to get ahold of the Crystal City location. My call was awnsered by a male. I let them know the situation, that I was not really happy with the grab bag and I wanted to exchange the mint flavored Delta 8 Vape with some flower as it came with way to many wraps and no flower to use them. Not to mention, I HATE mint. He told me that he would give the manager a call and give me a call back to see if they could do an exchange and that he couldn't make any guarantees. Standard thing to say. NEVER GOT THE CALL BACK. Rude as hell. I am a single mom so I wasn't thrilled to make a journey and lug kids to the store if they were not going to be able to exchange it which is what I told him. I went any way, as I had nothing else to smoke. Got to the store and the same lady that sold it to me, in addition to a male I've never seen before came to the counter and I repeated what I said over the phone. They asked me standard questions on why I was returning it. Once done they told me that they were not going to make an exchange because they don't sell those anymore or anything close enough to it. Wow. I cut my losses. I get home decide maybe I can over look the mint flavor which I can't stand, just to be able to have something to smoke. Turns out it needs to charge. Not a big deal. I stick it on the charger. After an hour of charging I press the button. Nothing happens. I plug it back in and stare at it this time. The light flashes twice and shuts off. I Google it and it's fucking defective. At this point I'm pissed! I'm thinking back to my interaction at the store because it strikes me odd that one of the questions that was asked, by the male was if it worked. Normally this is a standard question and I wouldn't have even thought back to it but you could clearly see the box had not been opened because the tape that keeps it sealed was still on it... Makes me think that they knew that the fucking thing was defective.. That stupid thing was worth 40.00 of that 60 dollar grab bag. So now nothing to fucking smoke on Christmas. Thanks "Crystal City Dispensary" for ruining the one thing I got myself for the holiday as a single mom barely making it anyway. I will KEEP posting this review every time I see removed, so people know to stay away from the grab bags as they no longer need to be sold. Google allows them to take the review down or hide it but Yelp doesnt. I would be willing to bet they are composed of defective items and/or items that don't sell well. I will NOT be returning to this dispensary after I have used my points for my free stuff.
