I have used them for over 5 years. I enjoy knowing that my trimming are being recycled. The staff has always been great to us.

Great green dump service at the best prices around. Easy to get in and out for topsoil and gravel as well.

I love the old-fashioned popcorn machine and free popcorn that they have at the store…read more I've always been able to get pretty much anything I need especially at the last minute like a nail, duct tape, bees/hornets/wasps spray, toilet seat, backup keys, and so much more. Super friendly and engaging customer support. The folks at work here really do seem to care. Another thing I love are the random cool things that you can purchase, like gift cards, and various trinkets. That they have those things has helped me grab some last-minute birthday and other holiday items for friends when I would have completely forgotten the special day. It is a nice neighborhood hardware store that serves its basic purpose and much more.

I have loved this store and staff since I moved to Kingston. As a general contractor and also in…read morethe process of remodeling our home here, Henery's has been an invaluable asset, literally 2 blocks away. At the onset of the pandemic, Henery's took charge and implemented numerous measures and protocols to keep patrons and staff as safe as possible. As of this date, May 18, 2020, however, things have deteriorated greatly. 1 of 5 employees I encountered wore a mask. 1 of 5 wore gloves. 2 passed within six inches of me in order to stock shelves on the same aisle I was on, neither wearing masks. Following the example, 2 of ten customers wore masks and also made numerous attempts to get less than 6 feet from me. There are no requirements for employees nor customers to wear a simple mask. Here's the thing. The measures we've used state wide and been enormously successful in reducing the spread of Covid 19. So much so, my wife and I thought it relatively safe to continue to shop in places like Henery's. Fact is, we have a 19 year old quadriplegic at home with 23% lung capacity. If he gets this disease, he dies. Full stop. As a result, we rely on the mutual concern and professionalism of establishments like Henery's to help maintain that level of safety. Henery's isn't doing that anymore, despite the lack of a vaccine and dire warnings from the CDC and epidemiologists globally. We cannot take the risk of killing our kid. So it is that today was my last trip into your store. Life will run a bit slower for us, as we order everything online and have it delivered, but seeing our son reach the age of 20 will make that well worthwhile.

We purchased a new washer drier combination on August 26th. It was to be delivered and installed…read moreabout 3 days later. The unit was delivered and the old one removed as scheduled. The 2 kids that delivered it were not up to the task. If we had not gave them some guidance they would never have got it out. They claimed their truck did not have the proper equipment to do the installation. They claimed they would tell their supervisor to get another crew to install the new unit. They contacted us with a new date and time. No one showed up. Called Lowe's and they arranged a new day and time. No one showed up. Called Lowe's and got to a manager who talked to their 3rd party company scheduler. The scheduler said he would get it scheduled the next day and would notify us of the appointment time. No one showed up and did not get a call. After noon I went to the store to purchase furniture sliders as we decided that we would need to install it ourselves (I am 83 and my wife is 81). While I was there I talked to the people in the appliance department where it was purchased. They contacted the delivery company and verified we were on the schedule. They claimed that someone had come to the house at 8:00 am. Our security camera picked up FedEx, Amazon and United Parcel Service but no Lowe's truck. They said they would have a crew here between 4 & 7, no show. About 7:30 we decided to try to install it ourselves. This unit is 74" high and weighs 350lbs. We actually were successful in getting it moved from our deck to the installation site. We decided at that time that was enough for that day. This morning after breakfast I started the installation process. The unit is in a single closet size area with just enough room to slide it in part way to hook up everything on the back. Then I was able to push it in and test it. (Today is September 11th.) SUCCESS. Now I need to try to get a refund for the installation fee I paid. Not too happy to say the least, think I will go back to Home Depot. Ray Bunn Sent from my iPad

The crowd comes with the territory. What really stood out was how well-organized everything was. Staff were actively directing traffic for parking and foot traffic which made the arrival process surprisingly smooth given the turnout. It's clear the organizers put thought into the logistics. The flower variety was truly awesome! Sooo many stunning colors and blooms that you just don't see every day. If you're a photography lover then this place is a dream. Every corner was practically begging to be photographed. They did have concessions on-site, which was convenient but my one suggestion would be to bring in a couple of food carts or local vendors to mix things up. The options were pretty basic. Think hotdogs and the usual staples. A little more variety in the food department would really elevate the whole experience. Minor food note aside, it was a fantastic visit and a perfect way to spend a spring day.

The actual fields are a significant walk from the entrance. This year, they did not plant the closer fields. Nowhere was this mentioned on their website when purchasing tickets. I asked if they had wheelchairs we could rent or a golf cart they could use to shuttle less-able folks out to the fields, but they don't provide that. Had we known, we would have chosen a different farm with closer fields.
