It's worth a stop in if you're in the area, especially if you're seeking a gift or souvenir for someone.

I actually went to purchase an ornament from a very small collection at a different store and the cashier quietly suggested that I needed to go to Tannenbaum's as they had the most amazing selection. She was not wrong. Not only can you deck out any type of Christmas tree you wish to have, they had a whole section that was very specific to door County and specific locations that they hand paint in the store. Of course, the one we selected had to be representative of sister Bay, Al Johnson's, and the goats as these are some of our most favorite memories from this trip. The gentleman working in the store was super friendly and helpful. Definitely put this one on your list so you can pick up a unique souvenir. They've also done incredible Work with the front entrance floral being so very welcoming. It says they are open 10 to 5 every day of the week. We were here on a Sunday.

I picked up a very nice glass ornament and was holding onto it. She aggressively suggested I put it in a basket. I took the suggestion and while I was walking around it was rolling in the basket. I didn't like that and didn't want the ornament to chip so I set the basket back and held the ornament again. Within a minute she was right where we were and rudely told me she was going to take the ornament from me since I wasn't using the basket. I explained that I felt it was safer in my hand than the basket and she insisted that it was better in the basket. Very unprofessional and rude. We stopped shopping immediately, paid for our ornament, and left. I did not appreciate being talked to or treated like a toddler.

The store is big with an eclectic variety of merchandise. Nothing really stood out to me. And the prices seem expensive. Although maybe typical for DoCo. This store has vintage clothing and jewelry, consignment clothing, new clothing samples, scarves, purses, and more. I can spend hours browsing in this store. And Betsy, the owner, is such a lovely person. I usually find something unique to buy each time I stop in and so do the friends I bring with me. You will truly enjoy Betsy's decorating talent as the shop is filled with vintage hats and displays. A must stop if you're anywhere near Sister Bay!

Plus a couple of bags just loaded with great designer brands (many were even new with tags!). They carry both standard and plus sizes too. I have been going here for at least 10 years when we go up to Door County on vacation and I am never disappointed. Besty, the owner, is the genuine article herself. It is a little tucked away in the cute boardwalk of shops behind the Piggly Wiggly grocery store. Plus she has a couple of comfy chairs right in the shop where your hubby/boyfriend can relax while he waits.
