The summer pass is such an excellent bargain. You can skate all summer for a dollar a session with the pass. A single session is 2 hours and is a pretty good workout. There is a limbo, a dice roll, red light/green light and up/down every session. Kids love it here. If you went skating in the 60's, 70's and 80's then this will bring back so many memories. It's exactly like every skating place you ever saw back then. It has that real roller skating feel. It's not real crowded on early afternoon weekdays so that's a good time for beginners to practice. You can skate with regular skates or roller blades, they have both. They have pizza, hot dogs, cotton candy just like the days of old. I take my sister on Wednesday with $3 admission from 6-9, plus skates. Friendly staff. Music selection's okie for a younger crowd. Lights are pretty cool. The Limbo and Dice game are fun. Last two times I've been, a big cop was there, so maybe a little sketchy gang formation fri/sat nights. Lets not overhype that point though. Like I still felt completely safe. It's exercise so people at least are reliving stress. Fun, fair priced, little arcade games. Fairly clean. 3.5 stars, but Yelp doesn't allow halfs, which is kinda dumb, because somethings don't deserve a 4 but its not right to give a 3. read more

Some of the reviews are old and out of date! Many improvements have been made with more all the time. They now separate music for younger kids and older teens and young adults (or cool old people like me who still skate and love all music) it's cleaner and they are super with the kids and teens. This place is fun for people who know who to skate but for people who don't know how and just came for fun don't really have fun. OMG Fun for the whole family! Kids and parents have fun. Great music and snacks Seriously we love it there

My kids and their friends love this place, I just get nostalgic. Ok it's not all fancy or anything it's just the basic skating rink. It is kind of dingy but the kids don't even notice they're to busy wearing off their energy. We've also had a birthday there and it was fine they staff was really helpful and kept on schedule. So if you want to have a fun family night you could try this place and the prices are very reasonable. read more

Skate City is a place I love to come to, but have found a few issues. First off, the location is a little tricky to find sometimes and it is a little expensive. Some of the staff and people there, in my experience, were very rude and not accommodating. Another thing I ran into were the bathrooms, which are dirty and what one could call "sketchy". However, I return once in a while because of the few freindly workers and the fun (and semi-clean) atmosphere. Overall, I would recommend this place only to those who understand what they're getting.
