I was referred to Dr.Lim from the Skin hospital. I received proper treatment there and the doctor said they can't do anything else to help and refered me to Dr Lim in uRepublic. I called uRepublic to book in my first appointment. They told me Dr Lim was not available untill late that year and asked if I would be happy with another doctor, Prof Sebaratnam. This is quite common in my opinion and I wanted my treatment to start as soon as possible so I agreed. Obviously it did not go as expected. On the day of the appointment, we were waiting for half an hour in the waiting room. Some photos were taken of my scarring and I waited in that room for a while more before Prof Sebaratnam came to me. The doctor was was very rushed to explain and it was very difficult to ask questions and at the end he mentioned one treatment I would not recommend because it is too expensive for you. I was digesting all the information and the same time he was asking us to go after 10 minutes of consultation. I left feeling like I was looked down, also without any information about the treatment he mentioned. He did say he will send information via email however at the end nothing was received from him. The nurses there however was very helpful and sent me a few websites after I requested. However I had to call them and say I do not want to proceed my treatment with this doctor as he did not look after his patient as far as I feel and I felt very uncomfortable with him. I asked for Dr Lim availability and they said he was not also is currently still not taking any patient (for 2 years). I asked for other doctors, they said they do not have anyone.

The person who made the appointment wasn't even working that day so no one knew what my appointment was for. As I was still keen to have my treatment done, I was left disappointment as this was completed in such a rush. Very unprofessional environment, they conducted the treatment with the door open! Lastly, even if they knew that they made a mistake with appointment, the staff kept trying to up-sell their products! Unbelievable. Would not recommend this place ever again.

They tend to get you to book into new prepaid packages knowing that you have previous packages that are still active and not expired. Please make sure you constantly monitor your online profile for the number of treatments you have left. I have 5 face and neck laser treatments left which are expiring in less than 3 months. When I reached out to them to extend it, they were only going to extend it by another 2 months. How is it possible to do 5 face and neck laser in 5 months?? Since I have been going to them for years, you do not need to do laser that frequently as it reduces hair growth. Being professionals, they should understand this. Therefore I have paid for 5 treatments, however I only get to do 3 treatments. I have been ripped off!
