These guys were amazing. I called about having a 15ft swim spa removed. They quoted me a price via text after I snapped a couple pictures of the spa. They were able to get to me the following week. The team of 3 were very professional and treated my property with care. With their massive truck they were able to wench it up to the flatbed. I called to get two refrigerators taken away. They had rotten food in them left by an evicted tenant. The owner came on-site and wanted to charge me more, so I asked how much. I didn't know there was an extra charge for this but I was fine with it. My objective was to get everything out of that unit ASAP to get it rental-ready. And then, the owner started complaining, pouting, and accusing me of purposely trying to hide the food. "I was like what!?" He then made references that I could not afford their service to get the fridge out. Again, I was like "What is your problem?" He's very rude and he should not be dealing with the general public. He does his business a disservice. A whining, complaining type of personality. A total drain on one's energy. The owner is a person that expresses a lot of stereotypes based on your appearance. Just because I don't drive a BMW and don't wear designer clothing (I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy), he assumed I wasn't worth much and couldn't afford his services. Okay, I'll start by saying this is a NOV 2019 review & I didn't know of Skip's Hauling prior to hiring. This review is based purely off my experience and is intended to help customers. As the 5star review suggests, I was very satisfied with Skip's and if you need something removed and don't have time for the story, I recommend you CALL SKIP'S HAULING NOW...they can and will remove it! STORY: 24 hours after saying he could do a job that I was struggling to tackle for over 18 months, I was shaking Skip's hand and writing him a check. Honestly, I still can't believe I don't have to look at that mess anymore! (storm damage) Skip's brought the equipment (heavy) and staff (friendly/hard working) I needed. Truth be told, they made the job look easy and yet he would not take more than what we agreed for-but I did offer. As a person in business for over 20 years myself, I can assure you that it is this kind of gesture that will keep his business running strong for a long time. Thank you, Skip's Hauling! We demolished two brick walls and we had 2 tons of bricks to be hauled away. We called Skip in the morning and he sent out a crew in the early afternoon. There were about 500 bricks to be hauled, and Skip's crew completed the job in one hour! WOW. I've never seen anyone work so hard. They were incredibly strong and very nice. Great company to work with! Sent a text with pics this morning showing household junk i needed to have removed from my driveway. Within a minute had a response with an estimated cost and a pick of days to have work done. Picked today and they showed up within the time frame stated. Two friendly workers got to work immediately and had the tv, lawnmower, snowblower and much more in their truck within 30-40 minutes. Would gladly work with them again!! read more

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. We called to rent a dumpster from this company. During the phone call when placing the order I asked repeatedly if there would be additional charges for weight. The woman on the phone told me repeatedly that and I quote "unless we load it with concrete and dirt there will be no way to go over the weight limit." I told her exactly what we were putting in the dumpster and of course we filled it since it was $360. MUCH MORE THAN OTHER COMPANIES WHICH I GUESS IS WHY WE COULD GET IT THAT SAME DAY. After we called to have it picked up we got a very angry phone call from Skip (owner of the company) stating that it was over weight, he couldn't pick it up and WOULD NOT unless we paid an additional $175. When we explained the initial phone call he said there was no way a person would have told us what they did on the phone. He then THREATENED to open the back and dump all of the contents on to our driveway if we didn't pay. Needless to say we are moving into a new home and didn't want that to happen. Begrudgingly we paid. Wish there was more I could do besides write this review but if it saves one person from being ripped off I guess it's worth it. read more
