It's been many years, but I'm compelled to write this review to ensure that the legacy of plastic…read moresurgeon Jan Wieslander is accurately reflected.
It's now been 16 years since I suffered the most horrific experience at Plastikkirurgiska Institutet in Malmo, Sweden. Jan B Wieslander performed a procedure he should have been well aware of would cause serious complications. He injected fat in my face, in a way that could be considered random (he was meant to target scars), leaving me with lumps and fat loss. He left me with severe scarring underneath my skin, due to the aggressive nature of how he performed the procedure.
It should be noted that I woke up on his surgical table with several stitches in my face, and that he NEVER told me prior to being sedated, that he would do any stitches at all. Imagine, waking up having stitches all over your face when your were told only injections would be made. It is exactly the horror movie it sounds like.
If Jan Wieslander's catastrophic procedure was not enough, his behaviour and manner after the surgery was nothing but shocking. After the surgery, he refused to speak with me and then, while I was in complete shock after the procedure, his staff more or less threw me out of his clinic. I was later told on the phone that I could remove the stitches myself, there was no need for him to ever see me again.
Now everyone reading this, should know that plastic surgeon Jan Wieslander felt it appropriate to cut and do stitches in the most visible places of my face, despite the treatment in the first place being for scars. He decided to make large cuts in the middle of my forehead and cheek, amongst other places.
Jan Wieslander have during these years threatened me when I've written truthful reviews. I say to you now Jan Wieslander, please feel free to do so again, please give me the platform to publish all the evidence that I've kept of your heartbreaking actions, as well as numerous accounts from accredited doctors, who testify to your damage. One of which so correctly reflects on what you did: "he really did a number on you, didn't he".
That is your legacy, Jan Wieslander.
