Our wedding pictures turned out gorgeous and everyone from out of town gushed over the scenery. Being an out of town bride, the event staff was very accommodating and always answered my many questions (and follow up questions) promptly and thoroughly. We also didn't buy the right type of sparklers for our send-off and they happened to have some on hand for our guests to use. Totally above and beyond! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they have the bride get ready in the women's restroom. The same restroom that many of my guests wished to use upon arriving at the venue. Not everyone saw me before I walked down the aisle but the wow-factor was taken away a tiny bit as many of my female friends and family members had already seen me in my dress. Also it was a bit stressful trying to calm my nerves before the wedding but having to greet people as they walked in the restroom door. I would still totally recommend the venue though, it was amazing!

It was a very chilly night so we didn't utilize the outside space, but having seen it in daylight previously, I can say that the gardens are beautiful and picturesque. The inside is warm and inviting and has beautiful use of wood in the structure. The sound system is amazing for background music. The high-top and 8' tables and chairs were nice looking and in great shape, which is very important. The bar area is beautiful and was thoughtfully accented with holiday decorations. First, I would like to say what an amazing, accommodating staff!! Alexandra, the wedding and events director, was so helpful, pleasant, kind, efficient and responsive. She is totally amazing. She was on-site, helping clear dishes and making sure everything went smoothly throughout the entire evening. We typically serve "heavy hor d'oeuvres" in a buffet style, which is what we did for this event. Chef Joey was so easy to work with in setting the menu and was open to suggestions. He and his staff did a phenomenal job on everything from the amazing food to making sure the buffet was nicely arranged and full of food at all times. Let me say again, the food was amazing! The bartender was pleasant, efficient and very nice. The drinks she made were great and my husband said she treated him like a king. We had such great response and reviews from our clients, many who have attended our Christmas events for many years. I've attended 4 events at this space and each one were great experiences. The first was our friends wedding and opening weekend for the venue. The food was top notch, cocktails and bar service rocked! Second was a Chamber of Commerce meet & greet event! Food and drinks were both notch and the zen garden setting made for an impeccable time getting connected with other local businesses. Third was a special brunch event that the staff throw a few times each season to get locals into the space to enjoy. They had a jazz band and Chef Ward puts out beautiful and tasty brunch fare! We reserved a table for 20 as it was our close friends birthday celebration and everyone raved about the experience! Forth was another wedding with the same outstanding hospitality and genuine staff we met on our previous visits. We only knew a handful of others attending but the space made for an excellent backdrop to make new friends and dance the night away!!! If you are looking for an awesome space to host your next event give this folks a shot to impress you just as they have my wife and I on all four separate occasions!

THE PERFECT WEDDING VENUE!…read more I just got married here last week. This is a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue. Asheville weather is a bit finicky in regards to rain, so we decided to hold our ceremony, reception, and dance floor indoors. The outdoor area has many seating areas or spots for pictures, including a fire pit and a koi fish pond. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is, one couple even said they may have to book this venue too! The bar was one of the highlights of this venue. Drinks were delicious, and kept flowing. The staff here is absolutely fantastic, Dawnn was our coordinator and she made everything flow so well. Things were set up and packed up behind the scenes. By the end of the night, everything was packed up and ready to be brought to the car.

There was a lot we didn't know, as it was a first time wedding for us with little connections in the area, and we would do a lot of things differently were we to do it again. Initially, we thought there would be a lot more provided than there was at this venue, especially for the one day rental of $10,000+. Things I would keep in mind for this venue (or for any other): Take your time choosing the right wedding venue: It is easy to feel time pressure when it comes to securing a wedding spot or vendor. We found Haiku in early 2024, and loved it. But we hadn't looked at anything else, and felt like we had to make an immediate decision because we wanted an October wedding. I wish I had taken the time to read through the contract before signing and asked more questions. We based our choice on the support we thought we would have. If I had under 50 people, and could have done their elopement package, I would have. They provide more support for that option. We had right around 70 people and it created a lot more work for us. Hire a wedding planner if you don't have family/friend support: I sincerely wish I hired a wedding planner to take care of a lot of the details that I missed and also who could have played intermediary with the venue and vendors. I thought that I would have more guidance that I did from Haiku, and opted to do the planning myself. Most of my stress came from details that would pop up out of nowhere, and having someone else fielding the minutia would have been amazing In retrospect, and well worth the moola. Pay attention to the contract, and get everything in writing: We signed a contract in Feb 2024, for our wedding in Oct 2025. As we started planning our wedding in early 2025, a number of things that we were told initially(not in the contract), were changed when we met up again later. Pricing, rules, etc. For some of it they were able to honor their original pricing, however some of the conditions we were forced to accept. The mixed expectations had us lose trust in our communications with Haiku, and made us realize we would have to be very careful for the rest of the process. Also, throughly read the contract and ask about contingencies. Ex. The contract makes the tents sound optional, and when it came down to it, we had a lot of push back when we thought we wanted to forgo the tents. There were also quite a few seemingly arbitrary rules, which every venue is likely to have, but left us confused and frustrated at times. Communication: I felt like their communication prior to a month before the event was lacking. Do not hesitate to ask them questions, and clarify everything. It would have been helpful to have some guidance to the portal we were given access to, along with dates things were due by....especially since it had many doubles and misnamed folders which made it hard to keep things straight. (Hopefully they have fixed this by the time you read this!) I spent a lot of time going back and forth with emails (Them and other vendors) where questions were missed multiple times. When it came to the actual event, it mostly went off without a hitch. The decor looked lovely, Haiku arranged things we had brought and meshed it with theirs creating a lovely effect. Things will always go wrong... and my issues at the wedding had more to do with the caterer cold food was served, people couldn't find our snack/hot beverages table (no one knew it was there), and missing unused cups/snacks that were not returned. An issue with the DJ being rude. We did have some miscommunication with how we needed to have some of items repacked to us, and had a couple things go missing (Labeling things would have done a world of good, I think) . ;) ) But overall, the guests had a fabulous time, of which I was grateful. -

It was in fair condition for mid June but the grass in some green side areas was so long that you could lose your ball. Playing it out if you found it was nearly impossible. I wish I would've gone through them when we had our original wedding...The farm is nestled in the mountains and while accessible from downtown Asheville, it's just far enough away that you feel like you are way out in the country. I requested a "boho/country" style and Celeste came through with vintage decor and gorgeous locally grown flowers. It was truly perfect and I couldn't have planned it better myself. This was the venue for my niece's wedding which had been postponed since October of 2024 because of…read morethe destruction caused by Hurricane Helene. I have some very mixed feelings about the venue, so bear with me. First, I have to say that the venue is beautiful. The scenic mountain views surrounding it are stunning. The building, which we never went into unless we needed a restroom, was very nice looking from the outside. The deck we ate dinner on was very nice. It is easy to see why someone would pick such a beautiful venue. For most people, this would be the perfect venue. My niece's wedding was, in fact, wonderful for the most part. I am giving it a 4, because it really is a wonderful venue. Unfortunately, this is where I have to go south with my review. In order to get to the actual ceremony area, guests are required to go down the equivalent of two stories- some on stairs and some on a grassy hill. Later, to get to the lowest area for the reception (the bar area), guests had to cross a grassy area and go up more stairs. From there, to get to the dining area of the reception, they had to climb even more stairs that had those wooden board railings that you can't get a grip on. The restrooms that guests were being told to use were down on the bottom level of the building. Once again, that required a hike including stairs and the grassy field. There was supposedly a tiny restroom on the level of the dining deck, but we were told several times not to use it because it was too small and uncomfortable. During the reception, my 72 year old sister in law needed to use the restroom. My wife tried to escort her since it involved the aforementioned hike and she has limited mobility. Unfortunately, the wooden stairs leading down to the bar area were damp from the evening mist and dangerously slick. She slipped, her feet flew up in the air, and she landed on her back and head at the bottom of them. When I got my brother in law, a doctor, he too slipped on the wet stairs and fell down on top of her. She was taken by ambulance to an ER in Asheville. He was only sore the next day. My point is this, if this is meant to be a wedding venue, it needs to have safer stairs, better railings, smooth flat surfaces leading everywhere, and acceptable restrooms on the dining level. I would even consider an elevator of some kind. At the very least, some of that sand paper stuff needs to be put on the surface of the stairs No matter how pretty the views were, I could never recommend this venue to anyone who has elderly guests, guests with mobility issues, or guests with other health issues that would make the venue inappropriate for them in its current condition. For everyone else, this is an awesome place to hold your wedding.
