TERRIBLE! Stay away from here. All they care about is money. There was a new person working there every time we called which was often since there seemed to be an issue all the time. Also good luck getting a hold of someone they don't answer their phones and leave the office early. Example 1 bathroom ceiling started leaking called the emergency line since it was not during office hours (no answer), they called back asked if we called maintenance. Had to explain to the employee that it was not during office hours no one was there and the ceiling leaking seemed like a "fix it now" problem. Example 2 No prior notice given and would just enter the apartment. Example 3 If something was broken and needed fixing they would find a way to make it your fault, then not fix it and tell you to pay for it. Now that we are trying to rent somewhere else, they have lied on forms asking about our rental history (which I have proof) and compromising any future housing we are considering. THESE PPL ARE CRIMINALS! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Charged me 2 month's rent for not giving notice even though they still accepted my money from the portal. Had to leave in a hurry because my car was stolen and I no longer felt safe living on Spring Creek Ave. I asked for more time to clean the place properly but the property manager told me don't worry about it and they have cleaning crews. Ended up charging me an extra $1300 for minimal dirt and wear and tear which included $150 for a dirty fridge and $600 to repaint the place for a few small holes left from a tv mount. I know they're gonna pay someone $150 to come clean the place and pocket close to an extra $1000 from me. Charged me $150 for dirty cabinets still trying to figure that one out. I'll spare you the details of how poor communication and maintenance response times were. Hands down the worst renting experience I've ever had. read more

This is the absolute worst property management I have ever been involved with. Their office is fully staffed, and they never answer the phone. Not ever. I have to drive over there, just to get a simple answer. My rent went up $300.00 a month, with the promise of receiving new lighting fixtures and a new stove and refrigerator. I have yet to receive anything for the increase. Not only that, they failed to document my proof of renter's insurance (It's good until August 2026!!). It was sent to their Foxen insurance company, as well as the office in my complex. Like I said, they failed to document it. They told me today, that my auto payment of $1,095. will be denied on September 1st, because I'm being fined an additional amount (for their mistake). That will make my rent $1,125.00, exceeding the amount I allow for my rent withdrawal. That, will bring down my credit score, if I have a late payment (due to their mistake!!). I literally had to stand over the girl's shoulder, to make certain that she faxed another copy of my proof of insurance to her manager, plus to Foxin. That's how badly I trust them. Not at all! Read review before you move. This is business to screw tenant. They typically have lower rent than surrounding apartment company, but they have high deposit. Thats the catch and you will not get your deposit back. So, plus and minus it will be same to live in good apartment and ditch this disrespectful place. They have a cleaning program which costs more or less $500 which is same as your deposit. So, either you have to take that program or leave your deposit however you clean during your move out. They will screw you over lame excuse. I stayed in lenox place apartment, bowling green for very short time. Management was very disrespectful from the beginning and scares all the time over any type of charge. DUring my move out, I cleaned all the place and left everything intact, whereas property management came and said you wont get any deposit back and you dont have any dues. I asked the move out inspector this is how you work and he replied "we have to make money from somebody". thats a wow. At first they charged me with half of my bill and when I expressed my dissatisfaction over move out inspection, their leasing manager charged me again after my signed move out document and told me we shall keep all your deposit. They will have always apartment ready since they dont have lot of tenant and whoever they get, screw them over. So, my only advice, read review before you move in. If you already pay your high application fee, you wont get back and dont ever expect your deposit. read more

yeah it's as bad as people say They literally never get back to you no matter how much you call. My property manager has only responded to my phone calls maybe once in the more than a year I have been with them. They poorly explain documents and will personally end up costing me 15K because they deemed my house student housing (bc it is downtown) and demanded a lease renewal 3 months into the new lease. They didn't call it that. When I tried to call property manager they didn't answer, nor return calls so I had to take the word of the receptionist who told me it was not a lease renewal, but an intent to renew. I am learning the hard way that it wasn't the case and I will be paying mortgage on a new house while either getting evicted or paying rent for a house, I no longer live in. I live at 3560 wheatstone ave, and my daughter and I can't do anything at all in the grass because every 5 feet there is dog poop. Not one person picks up after their pet and sky property does nothing to clean it up,enforce picking up after your pet, or make an area where you have to walk your pet. The worst property management possible. If you love being watched with your every move day by day then great. They will fine you on move out for every thing. Taking pictures inch by inch of your place for "proof" for charges. They will not take your safety into consideration. The buildings are poorly built and you can hear your neighbors cough and even worse having s-e-x. If you have friends over or even simply play music while cleaning your neighbors will call the cops for noise complaint. To which sky will not respond nor do anything about. SKY Properties Management sucks...I have tried for 45 days to get our buildings in Field Haven code compliant...we have no window screens, no handicap parking, 2 small dumpsters for over 100 families, no fire access road, bug and vermin problems due to people being so far away from the overflowing trash dumpster that they have to store their trash on the balconies and stairways until they can make the long journey to the trash area, there is standing stagnent water and weeds that they do nothing about, and to make things worse rhey allow independant contractors to enter your unit without notice when your not home. I've been told I would have to buy out of my lease...I'm getting an attorney....they haven't complied with the lease or the law. read more

My sister looked at an apartment in Elizabethtown KY. She was told that the company accepted HUD. She is disabled and on a fixed income. She spent $50 on the application fee only to find out weeks later that HUD is not accepted. During this time she called multiple times and sent numerous emails. The incompetence of the people who work here is unbelievable. They go to great lengths to be both unhelpful and unfriendly. Have had nothing but poor experiences with staff other than the maintenance workers. Initially, this property management corresponded asking permission to enter my residence. I granted permission although I would be away. Upon return I discovered personal items damaged in my unit. Now, I ask for them to either schedule an appointment or provide me the air filters to change in the residence but they refuse saying they have to enter the residence. I don't trust anyone on their staff to do the job correctly now that they've messed with my personal belongings. After multiple messages back and forth, they're not attempting to correct the issue where $90 in crystal stemware was broken during the initial maintenance call. Also, it took them WEEKS to remove a bogus $75 fee off of my account even after the "Property Manager" assured me it was removed. I paid my balance in full minus that fee, but their online portal kept reflecting the charge. I was in flight over the Atlantic Ocean when I got a "Past Due" notification and had to send the property manager yet another reminder to remove the charge. Aggravating. The reason they have 5 star reviews would be because they offered a contest for free stuff if you went online and "liked" the page and gave a 5 star rating. Initially, I gave that review. It's now been changed after living here for a couple of months. Don't be fooled by their score - it's fake. Check for yourself by looking at the 5 star reviews on this page. All in March, and more specifically around March 21. People trying to get that Ozark Tumbler and $20 gift card. In addition, their lack of professionalism when handling a complaint is appalling. Please read to make sure what happened to me doesn't happen to you. If you don't like smokers don't look to SKY Property. You may get lucky and get neighbors who don't smoke, but Sky property has a tenant agreement of NOT smoking. Yet people will smoke inside their apartments. When you report this issue they will do nothing about it and ask for 'Physical' evidence. Since smoke travels UP. There probably won't be any other tenants that will complain about it. Since SKY request more than one tenant to complain and physical evidence to stop the user there's nothing you can do. Also the maintenance team will not report apartments that have violated the tenant agreement. read more

Property looked really nice and expensive but after two weeks of living at their new apartments on Kentucky Street, I came to realize that the apartments were cheaply made. On move in the oven didn't work, we put in numerous work orders for it and they claimed "they never received any work orders". Our kitchen sink pipes were not adhered together, this caused our sink to flood our apartment on three separate occasions. On move out is when the real nightmare started. They charged me and my three roommates over 900 dollars and returned zero of our deposit. They claimed they had excessive damages but offered no proof. They charged outlandish prices for "dirty bathrooms" although we had the apartment cleaned after move out. The employees are extremely condescending and rude. No GYM LIKE IT SUPPOSE TO HAVE, NO CLUB HOUSE, LIKE IT SUPPOSE TO BE, NO FREE POOL LIKE IT ONCE WAS, RULES, RULES, AND MORE RULES,Ever since chandler sold out to them this place has be HELL!. They have charged us for trash fee in past, now they want us to send in car information and tags information. ( wtf) u call u have to leave a voicemail. If I could give a 0 star I would. I rented from them for 2 years at Jennings Creek. During this time, one person would tell you one thing, and then they would come back and say they never said that (even if you had written proof). They have terrible customer service! If you want to skip the rant, then read this: DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are shady, rude, and disrespectful. Save yourself from pain and wasting money, and rent elsewhere. We rented from Jennings Creek Apartments when it was still under the management of Chandler, but Sky Property took over after about a month or so into our lease. Then the HELL began. The office people were hard to get in touch with (and the main director, or whatever she is-her name is Cassi-is just about the most horrible person I have EVER had the displeasure of trying to work with), their maintenance employees only do their job if you happen to be home and you're standing over them, they charge you with outlandish fees-just because they can, they will not deal with neighbors who get out of hand, and they screw you over when you move out because they refuse to schedule a move-out inspection when it's convenient for you, then nickle and dime you for every, little thing they can find. (Including lightbulbs--even if YOU checked to make sure they were all working when you moved out). Currently, I am dealing with accusations of over $1100 in damages WHEN MOST OF THOSE WERE PRESENT WHEN WE MOVED IN. They claimed they had no way of knowing this, and said I would need to get in touch with Chandler about the move-in inspection. The best part was finding out from Chandler that they gave Sky EVERYTHING they had on Jennings Creek when Sky bought the property. So.... Can someone tell me how it's MY fault that they can't keep up with paperwork, including move-in inspections? Lesson learned: always, always, ALWAYS take pictures at move in and when you move out. I've rented from several places in BG, and I have NEVER had such a hellish experience. Bought out Jennings Creek from Chandler Property Management. Didn't have any idea that was going to happen, wish I had the money to break my lease. Why? Their maintenance people randomly entered MY apartment, scared me and everyone in it, and then left without doing anything. I understand I don't own my apartment but for them to do that without any warning?! Everything they do is automated. Good luck actually speaking with someone unless you have the misfortune of calling their maintenance people. Literally the biggest assholes I have ever met. They didn't even know where OUR apartment was. Can you even believe that? They will also give you a two day warning on anything they do. How do they communicate? Putting a piece of paper in your door. Good luck with it being a windy day. You'll never know what's going on. Now the mailbox is broken. Literally the worst property managers to ever rent from. I left a lengthy review on google so this one will be short. SKY is money hungry and could care less about tenants. Their slogan is 'live here live well' but truly living there was the most stressful and anxiety filled two years ever. We only moved there because they're community is aesthetically pleasing and we stupidly ignored the bad reviews we read before leasing from them. DO NOT ignore bad reviews. Seriously you do not want to rent here. You may as well watch hundreds of your hard earned dollars burn right in front of your face- that's the equivalent of paying rent to these people. They do not resolve your issues, maintenance took 3 and 1/2 weeks to repair our heat when it went out in January and we had a newborn baby at home. They do not tell you when maintenance is happening or for how long it will happen. Save yourself the headache and rent somewhere else. Their staff are EXTREMELY unprofessional as well. For those interested in the Village at Traditions, look for another place. I was a downstairs resident in the back corner of the neighborhood. Consider this your warning to avoid moving in a unit in the back corner of the neighborhood. I originally thought my only problem living there would be the traffic noise from I65-- little to my knowledge, it would be my upstairs neighbor who acted like a child constantly stomping and running marathons in his apartment who drove me out of this place. It took this guy knocking my chandelier off my ceiling for the management to FINALLY let me out of the place without penalty after 6 months of issues, and the POLICE had to come do something about it! Pathetic and lazy management. When I would complain, they never did anything about it and were SO rude and disrespectful. Just wanted my money and didn't care how I lived. On top of that, the promised amenities were not available (the gym, costs to use the pool) and the groundskeepers never blowed cut grass off of my porch causing me to drag in loads of dirt and grass each week. The pretty neighborhood can be a distraction for the awful living conditions. There is a reason there are so many vacancies, folks!!!! Don't move here or to any of their properties. read more
