My daughter's safety was in jeopardy by an unruly roommate that had no respect for herself let alone the other roommates. My daughter told her RA and the Residence Office that guys were coming into the room at all hours of the night "expecting to get some". In addition, this roommate would lash out both verbally and physically (on video no less and yes the school is aware) and the school did NOTHING about it. When my daughter asked to switch rooms, they made her go through hell and back and guilted her for not problem solving herself. They upset her so badly that she was visibly upset and her other roommate had to come to the office to get her to calm her down. She finished out the semester and transferred out. Not only did I file a Title IX sexual harassment report that they buried but they also put a sanction on her so that she couldn't transfer easily to another dorming college. This school is not free. I paid tuition for my daughter to be harassed by her roommate and then her school. Shame on you UTampa. No wonder the retention rate is so awful. For those parents that worry about their children away at school, this is not the school for your kid.

During a trip to Tampa, my buddy and I checked out the University of South Florida. USF has a large campus and it seems like more of a commuter school. We drove through it because we didn't really spot an area of campus that would be fun to walk. Most campuses have a quad that's picturesque but we weren't able to find USF's version if they have one. Not too impressive of a campus compared to others I've seen but maybe we just didn't run into the right area.

They are now holding me back from graduation until Spring 2025 over ONE credit (approximately 1/3 of the credits of a typical course), after their mistakes (i.e. not changing my major in the system so I couldn't sign up for classes for two entire semesters) cost me two semesters already. I was supposed to graduate Spring 2024. Then they denied my application to be a transient student at UWF for that one credit. Of course it's because they just want the money, it's evident they don't care about their students at all.

Next thing I know, I was sitting in front of finances, fitting for my scrubs and preparing my picture for my ID. I was enrolled in a Medical Assistant Program I was excited to start!! My time with the instructors, the practice and the hands on learning prepared me for working with surgeons at Tampa General Hospital!!! I never knew what it took to be a Medical Assistant and Concord exceeded those expectations and more. It wasn't all about the hands on learning that was exceptional, but the availability the instructors had to answer all my questions about the practice. I am so glad that I took a leap of faith to be apart of an AMAZING Institute! I read that they have rooms for standardized patients and a functional CT scanner! Highlights of this facility: 1. This would be my go-to place during a zombie attack. With the ORs, showers, and kitchen, what more could I ask during the end times? 2. The french toast that they served (sorry, no pics, house rules) was easily the best french toast that I have ever had! It was made from french bread and had a crispy top layer and a warm, sweet, gooey center reminescent of a brownie. If it weren't for my dress pants and belts I easily could've eaten mounds of it! 3. The toilet paper was engineered to be durable like a paper towel but plush like a pillow. It was THE BEST TOILET PAPER that I had ever used. 4. Free wifi. As a traveler on a budget, my iPhone was glad to pick up a guest wifi signal. In short, CAMLS high-end technology covers food, education, and everything in between.
