We spent 3 hours and our toddler had the time of her life! Absolutely love the separate Junior play area that is enclosed so the littles can run wild. From the entrance, the place mag seem small but they have so much to do and so many different fun opportunities for kids to try. We went on a Sunday, it was overwhelming and packed but we did not feel like we had people crowding us at all. Love the fact that there is a small food court because hunger will strike when you use up so much energy. The cons for me are that everyone even adults who don't want to jump must pay to go in. Also, the cubbies are wide open so we didn't feel safe leaving the area where we left our things unattended. Overall we had a great time.

The host and people there were attentive. This isn't a babysitting facility so obviously keep track of your little ones. They had so many things to keep the kids preoccupied and the ability to get their energy out. They didn't want to leave! The only complaint that I have is for the arcade area. All games were 7 or 8 credits. Minimum card option is for 20 credits so there aren't enough credits for a minimum of 3 games. They should adjust the credit minimum to 21. Otherwise this place was awesome for the kids and we'll be coming back!

The Festival grounds (located in Riverfront Park) was enormous. There was a big midway with amusement rides and games, plenty of food trucks, three stages of live music, craft and clothing vendors, a petting zoo, a pub, ice cream stands, apple pies and fritters, and even a 5k Road Race for tomorrow. We had such a fun time, just strolling the grounds, checking out all the food options. We eventually settled on a plate of Tofu Pad Thai and dumplings from Siam. We also picked up a 6-piece order of Apple Fritters and split that between three apple and three pumpkin. I also had a nice visit to the at the Pan De Oro booth and learned they make salsa and tortilla chips right in Hartford! Who knew? We parked at the high school and took a shuttle bus to the gate. Admission was $5 per person. Sure beats the crowded Southington Apple Festival in our opinion.

Avezzie Charitable Foundation treated 22 enthusiastic Grade 2-5 superstars from our Room 102B FaceTime Reading Class to a high-energy hour of pure joy right in their hometown. These bright kids did it all! They flew high on the trampolines, tackled the ninja obstacle course, challenged each other on the Slam Ball court, and tested their balance on the beams over the soft foam pits. They also conquered the zip lines, tire swings, ropes course, and climbing rock walls, ending the session with a spin through the arcades and massive slides. ‍ Because "it takes a village," we were absolutely thrilled to see so many Lincoln Elementary School parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles show up to cheer on our readers. Watching the families, our two dedicated teachers, and our wonderful school principal, Gina Cavallo, cheering the kids on from the sidelines and in the party room was truly heartwarming. We paid entire amount, showed up at 6am as told and worked till noon. We had water and snacks avail for free. All went down hill from there. I could not get our bib numbers to save my life. There was a regular registration tent and a volunteer tent. I literally walked back and forth four times. Explaining that I just came from the other tent and yet still sent back to the one I just came from.... disorganized. No one knew what was going on ever besides two women. Behind the scenes it was all extremely, EXTREMELY unorganized. We couldn't get relieved. Turns out we were supposed to run for free... But when we tried to explain that we paid... We were given the run around due to complete disorganization and no one knowing what was going on. And then they didn't want to give us our shirts. Cause we were volunteers and didn't pay... BUT WE DID. such a headache. I'm sure the race would have been ok if you didn't work it. More staff... less volunteers need to work this.
