These guys were great. I had 2 trees that I thought were too close to my house, and wanted them removed in a timely fashion as I was having a new driveway put in and did not want heavy machinery driving over a new driveway. Time was a factor here, but certainly not an emergency tree removal. I called various other companies for quotes and was met with return calls telling me they could be out in the next week or so to take a look. I thought I was going to have to reset my timeline expectations until I called Skyhook. Jason gave me a callback on a Saturday, and set up time with me to come out early the following day (Sunday) to estimate the job. His pricing was on par with the other quotes I had at this point - but what sold me was that he recognized my time crunch and squeezed me into his schedule for the week coming up. The day of the tree removal came, and Jason had given me text message updates on when to expect his crew (good communication!). And show up they did.. Massive crane, chipping trucks, a crew of at least 7 guys. Within I'd estimate under an hour they had both trees down and the limbs through the chipper. I went out on my back deck and asked how they were getting the actual logs out. As if on cue, Jason said "on the log truck," which was at that exact moment coming down my driveway. Within 15 more minutes all of the logs were on the truck, I had invoice for the amount quoted and was able to move on with my life. Highly recommend Jason and his crew at Skyhook Tree. The project was the removal of a 60' + pine tree that lost some large branches this past winter. They showed up on time and began work immediately. Because of the location of the ltree and its branches, electric, cable and telephone lines, I thought this would be an all day project. Jason's crew is very well train in there jobs and were very safety conscious. The worker in the bucket truck surgically remove the branches around all lines and took down the rest of the tree with just as much care. Once they were done, I had to stop them from raking my whole yard. The job was completed at the price he quoted. To my surprise, they were done in 2 1/2 hours. Amazing!! I watched the whole crew come back and forth and up and down and it was like watching "The Cirque du Soleil." It was as if they were born to it. They did all that they said they would do and cleaned up after themselves to boot! Every single member of the team was friendly, and they all worked tirelessly. The most fascinating part was at the end when they all got their chain saws and worked together to cut and stack all of the wood. This part was like a symphony unlike anything I had ever experienced. I might even say, it was as good as going to the theater. It's hard to find such a good group of men who love their work as they all seem to love theirs. I called and asked if he could do a 5 tree job with a crane within the week. He came to my house the next morning, gave me a quote, and wrote me into his appointment book for that week. I'm a tradesman, and really enjoyed seeing a crew of tradesmen at work. Tough, hardworking talent, and at the same time, polite, and well mannered. They don't mess around- they all know what they are doing. Top notch equipment. They have everything. Trees were craned, chipped, and logs hauled away all while working out of my driveway. Grass, and irrigation was completely unscaved which was impressive considering the obstacles (other trees, powerlines, the road etc.). Tree climber "Hollywood" is one of the best I've seen. Jason and his crew did a fantastic job taking down a very large cherry tree in Douglas. It was in what I believed to be a very inaccessible part of the property with no apparent way to get the equipment to the tree without driving over my lawn. His team laid down plywood to move the equipment and HAND CARRIED everything that needed to be fed into the chipper parked in the driveway. When the job was done, they cleaned up everything. I mowed the next day and you couldn't even tell they were there (except for the "no tree"). I reached out on a Monday evening requesting a quote for a very large pine tree to be removed. Jason was extremely prompt in getting back to me with an appointment. The price was very fair and work was promptly scheduled for that same Friday. The crew of 7 total men worked efficiently clearing the area of large items in the way (basketball hoop etc) they then took down the tree with the crane, chipping it up, and a log truck hauled away the large pieces. Extremely impressed with the amount of communication throughout the entire process. Most companies say you have to do x,y,z for them to do a job. I had a really tricky and tough tree job, 10 pines that reached way up to the clouds in my backyard. I called Jason and within days he had his whole crew over to take care of business. They worked together quickly and efficiently. My daughter and I watched from the house and we were amazed! This company is awesome! They showed up on time, were professional and friendly. They are well organized and efficient. We live on a lake and had 4 trees removed. One very large one was very close to the water. We had to be sure that whomever we selected was going to be careful not to get any debris in the lake. All went perfect!They were a little higher than some of the estimates we got but they were worth every penny. My property was left cleaner than it was before they got here! I met with Jason on Saturday afternoon to discuss cutting down a walnut tree in my yard. He quoted me a very reasonable price and told me the job could be done the next day. I was surprised it could be done that quickly. I left for a few hours to do some errands and when I returned home that same Saturday afternoon the tree was gone! They also removed all the branches that had fallen during the winter. I cannot say how shocked I was to receive this excellent service. SkyHook Tree & Sons came and removed several large trees around our home today. The trees were in difficult to access spots close to the house. The trees were cut and removed safely and carefully using a crane and a bucket truck. The cut trees were hauled away and branches woodchipped and removed. The yard was then completely cleaned up. Jason and his crew just completed a complicated removal of a pine and a maple tree for us and we're impressed and relieved! The pine was tangled in the power lines and whenever there was heavy wind, would drop some branches. It was a real hazard for the neighborhood. We've had two jobs done by Skyhook, we needed a second tree down and they were able to schedule us in quick! They came and went within an hour or so and made sure everything was cleaned up. They returned our call the same day. Came to the house 2 days later and gave us a quote on site. Work was scheduled the following week to take down 2 trees located in a very difficult place. Power lines and house were both involved. The trees came down with no damage and the clean up was excellent. They stayed true to their quote even though the job was more difficult.
