My dog Micky was 12 and acting strange. Cowering etc. I wasn't allowed in due to covid and kept telling them yo check his eyes. I was told just cataracts affecting his site. Finally after a few months I Saud I wsnt to come in and see the dr. This was during covid and drs were now letting people in. I was told by office manager no because some of workers are not vaccinated. I said I'm fully vexed so coming in, not my ptob. Anyway Doctor e n dy Said he had a scratch on his eye.later. I found out the scratch was there for 5 years from the optimologist. I found a few days later. I went and again and saw a doctor despiro. She thought up was Lyme related and gave ne antibiotics. Finally got an Appointment with Dr Edelman opthmologist in Tinton falls. My dog has gone blind in the eye and the reason for him not being himself was that his eye pressure was 80 where is should have been under 16. He was suffering from horrible migraine headaches all this time and THEY NEVER CHECKED HIS PRESSURE. TOTTALLY IN COMPETENT. it's taken me a couple of years to write this but needs to be told. After that I was offered free every other day eye pressure tests but bever wanted to see that place again. If you ate not going for routine vax and you livecand know your dog, DONT USE THEM. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at G.L.A.H, my Raven recently had major surgery removing a couple of necrotic cysts. They could not have been more kind and caring towards my sweet girl. They were patient with this nervous Mama with her prep and aftercare, I got calls checking on her progress. I never once had a doubt in my mind that she was in the best of hands. Both my dogs have chronic issues that the Doctors and staff have been amazing in treating. They are so patient with our questions, and they could not be more loving with my babies when they are in their care. When Otis was diagnosed with a deadly tumor in 2020 Dr. Ness took the time to call me, answer or return every call I ever made to him, no matter the date and time and offered me compassionate guidance through it all. Otis lived longer than expected (15 months!) and just recently passed. It was sudden and our plan to have him go at home was not able to happen. We took him to Dr. Ness on New Years Eve and thankfully they were there and helped us with the most difficult thing we've ever had to do. We are bereft but grateful to this wonderful place for helping us send our baby to the rainbow bridge peacefully and respectfully. We miss you Dr. Ness and know when the time is right we will see you again.
